Last week I was hoping for 11 of 15, I came up two games short. This weekend I need to get at least five of seven.

Holy Family over Robbinsdale Armstrong by nine. Armstrong has some size to put on [player_tooltip player_id='1284091' first='Brayden' last='Carlson'] but without [player_tooltip player_id='1284213' first='Seth' last='Newbern'] do they have enough senior scoring to match [player_tooltip player_id='1287442' first='Kole' last='Hanson'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1284180' first='Luke' last='Graff']? The Hanson vs [player_tooltip player_id='1448601' first='Desmond' last='Ware'] match-up should be good. Keep in mind here, Armstrong plays at Park Center tonight, and then 14 hours after finishing the game with the Pirates, they play Holy Family at 10:30am in the same building .

Eastview over Minneapolis Washburn by one. [player_tooltip player_id='1287440' first='Jonathan' last='Mekonnen'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1284167' first='Kyle' last='Jorgensen'] are about to do something special against one another I think. Future Colorado State teammates. I think this will be close, the Millers have opened eyes beating Mound-Westonka and Tartan whereas Eastview has a lot of new pieces playing their third game. I think Eastview sneaks it out.

Maple Grove over Cretin-Derham Hall by two. This should be another very close game. I think the Crimson being the more veteran team, although they have some youth out there too, will give them the very slight edge.

Orono over Eden Prairie by five. I think EP needs this badly as starting the season with Ls to BSM, Lakeville South and Orono would turn up the heat on the players of a very good, yet young team. The Orono guards are tough and there is nothing this year or last year that makes me think EP will win this. Need some proof from them before we start talking about them as a top ten team beating another top ten team.

Minnetonka over Osseo by seven. This might be the toughest Tonka team we have seen in about ten years. [player_tooltip player_id='1296153' first='Kayden' last='Wells'] adds a needed element and [player_tooltip player_id='1284083' first='Andy' last='Stefonowicz'] is starting out his season in a strong way. Osseo has the veteran guards to make this tough but Stefonowicz is a step ahead.

Hopkins over Lakeville South by one. Hopkins has wins over Orono and East Ridge, I think with Marley ready to go South wins as that is a veteran, matured team. But I just saw Tonka score 100 on South and Hopkins has guards that are going to be coming down hill as well.

Park Center over BSM by ten. BSM has a really good five, Park Center has a really good eight. Park Center is at home. I think the Pirates win this game in their wide open ways in a very fun, wide open game that has a ton of highlights. But the depth of Park Center will lead them to a win.
