1. Lutheran West (7-0)
Racking up some impressive wins against local competition and even an out of state power, Lutheran West looks poised to make it back to Dayton this season.
2. Kettering Alter (5-0)
The unquestioned top two teams in Division II are Lutheran West and Kettering Alter. Both have been impressive and as of this moment, ahead of the rest of the pack.
3. Shelby (4-1)
A loss on a neutral court against Division III powerhouse Ottawa Glandorf in a tight contest shows Shelby is still near the top of Division II, but at the moment not in that top tier.
4. Bishop Hartley (3-0)
A neutral court win over a tough North Adams squad shows that Bishop Hartley can go down to tough environments and leave with a win. They’ll have some big conference games soon that will tell us where they stand.
5. Akron Buchtel (4-2)
Playing a tough non-conference schedule, overtime loss to Pickerington North and tough loss to Lutheran West move Buchtel down a little, but they’ve been dominant in Akron City League play.
6. Cincinnati Wyoming (5-0)
Their young core seems to be maturing and ready to win a bunch of games with a manageable schedule that should give them a high playoff seed if they get to 18-20 regular season wins.
7. Lexington (6-0)
A 25 point win over Mansfield and 31 point win over Wadsworth makes Lexington an easy choice to be our first team to move from the watchlist to the top 10.
8. Cincinnati Woodward (4-2)
A tough loss to a top team in Kentucky to open their season hasn’t derailed Woodward as their victory over Trotwood Madison puts them in the top 10.
9. Trotwood Madison (4-1)
A team that has the potential to move up, their lone loss slips them behind Woodward based on head-to-head.
10. CVCA (5-0)
