Here are some of the top perimeter shooters I observed during December.

[player_tooltip player_id='1782590' first='Lawrence' last='Brown'] | St. Andrew's '26

Shooting is not the first thing most people would think that Brown excels at, but I beg to differ. I watched him hit 4/10 threes from vs. Severn to go along with 5/6 free throws. Brown has volleyball line range and gets to his spots from the in-between areas as well.

[player_tooltip player_id='1370496' first='Derek' last='Dixon'] | Gonzaga '25

Every time I watch Dixon shoot the ball, I have a firm belief that it's going in. He hit 4/8 threes vs. Ireton. Dixon has unlimited range and uses shot fakes to keep defenders off balance. On top of that, he can create space for his jumper off the dribble.

[player_tooltip player_id='1948339' first='David' last='Dorsey III'] | Frederick '24

Dorsey hit 3/7 from downtown vs. Jefferson. He has a soft touch at 6'6", and is a dangerous mid-range pull-up shooter as well.

[player_tooltip player_id='1579103' first='Thomas' last='Farrell'] | Whitman '25

I watched Farrell hit 6/15 (40%) from three-point land in two games this month. What impressed me most was not just his volume, but his short memory. The term "shooters shoot" definitely applies to Farrell.

[player_tooltip player_id='1580730' first='Dezmond' last='Hopkins'] | Patriot '24

Hopkins has long been on my radar as a knockdown shooter. He had a great performance vs. South Lakes during which he connected on 4/5 attempts from behind the arc. Hopkins is also adept at using shot fakes to make foes hesitate.

[player_tooltip player_id='2340864' first='Jack' last='Siwert'] | Centreville '25

Siwert is a 6'3" guard who is shooting 50% from 3 on the year per Wildcats Head Coach Andrew Hypnar. I saw him connect on all three of his tries vs. Gar-Field. Siwert has incredible range and a quick release.

[player_tooltip player_id='2636012' first='Ricardo' last='Zeno'] | McKinley Tech '26

Zeno has been labeled a gym rat by Trainers' Coach Head Coach Ali Foster, and it shows in his game. He is a constant outside threat. Zeno drilled 3/4 from downtown vs. Seton. He can put it on the deck and attack closeouts as well.
