McSweeney showed an impressive ability to be effective in the painted area with his length at 6-foot-8. He finished with 13 points across three quarters of work, going 4-of-6 from the free-throw line in leading the charge in frontcourt for his squad. He’ll be a name to track this season as their schedule ramps up.
Burnette stepped up in a big way to lead Wakefield to a victory over Sanderson High. He finished with an impressive stat line in a comeback victory with 14 points, nine assists, five rebounds, five steals and two blocks as he showed his ability to affect the game in different ways. He’s a strong floor general who knows when to score and when to find others with his sleek passing ability. DII and DIII programs in the region should take notice.

Chris Harris
Harris came up big for the Wolverines in the second half where he produced all nine of his points. He found ways to move without the ball and knew where to be to come up with some buckets in key moments for Wakefield to gain momentum. He’s an unsigned senior guard emerging as a new face with this group. He also had three rebounds (1 offensive).
Another 2025 prospect who’s really made himself known with Cardinal Gibbons High, Phillips showed off his ability to be an instant offensive threat, especially on the perimeter. He knocked down three 3-pointers and finished with 11 points across three quarters of work for the Crusaders.
Green finished the game with 15 points on an efficient 7-of-11 shooting clip as Knightdale High held on for an 60-58 victory in the final seconds. He showed off an ability to play both ends of the floor with his stat line of 15 points, four steals, four rebounds and two assists to lead the charge for their backcourt. He’s an emerging junior guard for DII and DIII programs in the region to get to know.
Ibukun Adewumi
Ibukun Adewumi
Adewumi is another new face for Knightdale High who showed off his ability to be effective, especially in the fourth quarter when offense was needed. He did a little bit of everything for the Knights to pace the wing and frontcourt. He used his length to finish with 12 points, four rebounds, three assists, two steals and a block. He’s another new face emerging with this group.
