The City of Palms can change the trajectory of a player's career. The annual holiday tournament gives a national platform to show they belong at the highest levels of the game. While many coaches are coming for the stars a solid showing from a role player can steal the show. Here are seven prospects who could have breakout moments during the City of Palms week.

[player_tooltip player_id='1579753' first='Jordan' last='Taylor']
Taylor is Gifted with a 6'7 size and an athletic pop. The 2025 prospect gained confidence this summer and is using it to become a consistent double-double threat. He is a decent defender who can use his physical tools to affect shots. Would benefit from getting stronger so he can use more toughness in the paint.

[player_tooltip player_id='1579752' first='Jordan' last='Attia']
Attia's combination of scoring and playmaking should give him a few eye-opening monuments in Fort Myers. Excellent control of pace from the lead guard position. Has good size and quickness for the lead guard position. Attia has good court vision, gets to the rack, and excels at creating space.

[player_tooltip player_id='2299674' first='Thok' last='Gol']
Gol is a 6'8 forward with a high motor. He's still raw but can affect the game on both ends with length, edgier, and athleticism. With the way he runs the floor and flashes his handle on the break, the sophomore should draw eyes.

[player_tooltip player_id='1301712' first='Jerry' last='Ashley']
The versatility Alert plays with at 6'7 could turn on the national stage. He's a long, agile forward who can cover ground and attack the boards. He'll command attention between his measurements, movement patterns, and defensive feel. He's a solid finisher who can push it in transition. A two-sport athlete whose final background helps him handle physicality.

[player_tooltip player_id='2306284' first='Ethan' last='Bertrand']
The 6'3 point guard gets to display his heady game in the traditional bracket. His frame, feel for the game, and three-level scoring flashes will set him apart from most guards. A quick first step and a pass Forest nature combine to make him a scoring threat and a good playmaker for a talented team. Checking the box score to see how he affected several major parts of the game after watching how he controls the game should have coaches asking, 'who is that?'.

[player_tooltip player_id='2294543' first='Anthony' last='Walcott']
The 6'6 freshman wing is playing shoot minutes for one of the best teams in the country. Walcott may not have a major role, but his size and scoring prowess will help him build a resume. Having film against top competition and flashing his skillet will help him down the road.

[player_tooltip player_id='1494102' first='Kareem' last='Stagg']
The 6'8 forward out of Virginia is starting to pick up national attention, and there's no tournament better to give him a boost than the City of Palms. He has the skillset and body to be a jumbo wing who can attack the basket in transition, abuse mismatches in the post, and take defenders off the dribble in the half court. He's an athletic floor runner who flashes a consistent jumper with all the tools to be a multipositional defender.
