The 6-3 freshman has taken huge strides in his game whether it’s his athleticism or his frame. Gornto is a versatile scorer who can impact the game in a variety of ways whether it’s his knockdown shooting from the perimeter or on the attack. His ability to stay locked in on the defensive end of the floor is also worth making note of as he can defend multiple positions on the floor. Gornto currently holds an offer from Jacksonville University and don’t expect it to be his last offer either.
The 6-2 freshman guard can move exceptionally well without the basketball in his hands where he can get to his spots. Manrow plays dangerous off the catch and can knock down shots across multiple levels. On the defensive end, Manrow plays with good energy and is quick to get into the passing lanes where he can turn his defense into offense in a hurry. Look for Manrow to have a ton of upside not just for the rest of this high school season but for the next three years after.
Settles has the intangibles to be a strong on-the-ball defender as well where he can guard both positions out on the perimeter where he forces the opposition into taking tough shots. Settles has a strong understanding for the game as well where his IQ continues to rise and could become a big-time prospect as his high school career rolls on. Settles is also having a strong start to his freshman averaging 10.4 points and 3.2 rebounds per game this season for the Indians.
Highlights
The 6-1 freshman has played at the varsity level since he was in eighth grade putting up prolific numbers on the offensive end of the floor. LaSalle is your traditional three-level scorer where he can score off the bounce as well as off the catch in transition. His IQ has continued to rise each and every game where he can possibly get some college interest by the start of his junior season.
