showed great poise with basketball when faced with the pressure brought upon by Lehigh in half-court. Against a defense that likes to send traps, Cooper was efficient in not turning the ball over and was excellent in his ability to relocate and provide his teammates with a kickout on their drives. LaSalle led all scorers in the first half with 13 points, connecting on a total of 3 triples, before adding yet another crucial 3 and layup in the second half that helped push his Griffiths team towards victory vs the Lightning. Keep an eye out for LaSalle in the following sessions of the SWFL Showcase.

Off the back of a season where he averaged 17 points a game for Estero High School, LaSalle has decided to make his return to Gateway Charter for the 25-26 season. LaSalle possesses a smooth jump shot with the ability to put up points in a variety of ways, both inside and outside the arc. LaSalle’s sound handle will also prove to be a valuable asset for a Gateway Charter team that is very young, yet extremely talented. Look for Cooper to make an impact for the Griffiths and be the leader for a strong team under coach Bonilla.
