SWFL Notable Transfers, Second Five

Summer is in full swing with live periods and travel tournaments taking place across the state and country as a whole. This is an important time of year for transfers to suit up and get acclimated with their new teams, so let's now take a closer look at a number of SWFL prospects who have found themselves a new home for the 2026-27 season.    An outstanding young player, Copeland, comes over to Palmetto Ridge from Donahue Catholic. The 5'10" CG plays the game with great poise and confidence, and has an extremely high basketball IQ. He has elite handles and can score in bunches, but also has great court vision and looks to get his teammates involved. Copeland has the ability to score on all 3-levels. and has a terrific outside shot, where he shoots the 3-ball at a very high rate.     [player_tooltip player_id='3681090' first='Blaise' last='Copeland'], Corban's younger brother, is also joining the Bears next season, after logging quality minutes for Donahue Catholic as only an 8th grader last season. The rising freshman plays well beyond his age, and just plays the game right. He has unlimited range and shoots it from behind the arc at a very high rate. Copeland is a smart player who will look to contribute right away as a freshman, as he joins a solid group of guards down at Palmetto Ridge.     Diaz can do a little bit of everything, and is an excellent two-way player, who comes over to Naples Classical after a year at ECS. The 6'3" CG has the ability to guard multiple positions on defense, and also rebounds the ball very well from the guard position. He handles the ball very well, and can create his own shot off the dribble, but is also a very effective catch and shoot player. Diaz moves very well without the ball, and when he gets hot can be deadly from behind the arc     A lightning quick guard, Jackson, comes over to Charlotte after spending his first three years at The Imagine School, and will be a nice addition to an already deep group of guards for the Tarpons. He is a smart player who handles the ball well, and is also an excellent passer. He is a gritty defender who has a knack for forcing turnovers and turning defense into offense, where he excels in the transition game and can showcase his speed and athleticism.     Cadavos is coming back to FBA after playing for two years at Barron Collier. The rising senior has a smooth lefty stroke and is a very efficient 3-point shooter. He has great court vision and is always looking to get his teammates involved, but also can create his own shot and has no fear when attacking the basket. Cadavos gives 100% every time he steps on the floor, and is a clutch player who is never afraid to take the big shot.
