The state of Wisconsin has been known for producing exceptional talent on the hardwood in the last few years. Several players have gone on to shine at both the collegiate and NBA level. The 2025 recruiting class will be no different and may go down as one of the best classes ever in state history. This is a class that may produce 20+ players with a division one offer. Currently, nine guards hold a D1 offer (five players with high major offers) and a handful of other prospects who are earning interest. These prospects, particularly the guards, are poised to continue making noise and are the best crop of guards Wisconsin has produced since NBA stars Tyler Herro and Tyrese Haliburton in 2018.

In the class of 2025, he may be Wisconsin's next NBA prospect to follow in the footsteps of Tyler Herro, Tyrese Haliburton, Johnny Davis, and 2023 NBA Draft selection Brandin Podziemski. Davion has intriguing physical tools and his length is already working wonders. His length helps him finish around defenders, rise up in the mid-range when closely contested, and make a two-way impact. As an above the rim athlete who finishes through contact, acts as cutting lob threat, and play finisher, he's sure to have a highlight worthy clip in every game. He can score off the dribble and his developing outside jumper is still good enough to force defenders to respect it (33%). Continuing to develop his three-point shot will make it easier for him to get downhill and to the rim where he loves to play.rnrnu003cstrongu003eTop Offers: u003c/strongu003eMarquette, Michigan State, Oregon, Wisconsin, LSU, Auburn, and Arizona State","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_1_player":["1351717"],"_player_evaluations_1_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_1_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_1_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_1_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_1_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_1_evaluation":"After winning a state championship as a sophomore, [player_tooltip player_id='1351717' first='Zach' last='Kinziger'] kept things rolling by dominating the Nike EYBL (16) circuit against some of the best prospects and aau teams in the country. In fact, Kinziger was one of the most efficient scorers in the country, ranking ahead of generational prospect, Cooper Flagg. It's widely known that Kinziger is a shooter, after connecting on 43% of his triples this past high school season, but he took this to another level this summer. Against better competition and more defensive attention, he shot 49.3% on a healthy 5.6 attempts per game from three. He punishes teams for going under screens and is lethal when left open. Flat out, he's a special shooter and there's not much defenses can do to slow him down, especially when he connects on 51.9% of his guarded catch and shoot attempts.rnrnu003cstrongu003eCommitment: u003c/strongu003eWisconsin","_player_evaluations_1_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_2_player":["1371733"],"_player_evaluations_2_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_2_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_2_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_2_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_2_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_2_evaluation":"[player_tooltip player_id='1371733' first='Juan' last='Guerrero Hernandez'] Jr is another prospect with an incredibly high ceiling. He's only 16 years old and measures up as 6'4 now. Combine his height, length, and advanced athleticism and this is a prospect with mouthwatering physical tools for a collegiate guard. Not to mention his untapped potential and room for growth. He may be the best dunker the state has seen in a long time, especially when you factor in his age and height. He has great body control in the air and understands timing on lobs. He's a ball dominant player that will slice his way to the rim, but also stretch defenders out to the 3P to respect his outside jumper (39%). Averaged 18.6 PPG, 6.1 RPG, and 3.1 APG as a sophomore. This was thanks to an impressive 44.4% 3P shooting slash on 7.5 attempts per game. The scary thing is, there's still room for improvement on his outside shot. During summer ball, Batemon showed his willingness to attack closeouts and get to the mid-range; he liked his off the dribble jumpers. As a prospect, there's a lot to love about Batemon. He connected on 40.2% of his catch and shoot 3P jumpers, finished 63.6% of his shots at the rim, and shot 40% 3P off screens. His movement and stationary shooting skills, given his age, are noteworthy and the fact that he limited his turnovers against better competition this summer. Pick and roll play will be something to monitor and some improvement can really help take his game to the next level.rnrnu003cstrongu003eTop Offers: u003c/strongu003eMarquette, Iowa State, Mississippi State, Wake Forest, and Illinois","_player_evaluations_3_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_4_player":["1240337"],"_player_evaluations_4_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_4_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_4_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_4_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_4_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_4_evaluation":"[player_tooltip player_id='1240337' first='Jake' last='Hansen'] is one of the few prospects who has the green light to shoot every time he touches the ball. He's a volume shooter who had 15 games with 3+ 3PM last season. He benefits from the low post threat of teammate [player_tooltip player_id='1240335' first='Kai' last='Rogers'] who helps with spacing.
