Franklin @ Noblesville

Both of these teams are 1-0 and will tip-off some afternoon hoops today at 1:30 p.m. Noblesville is ranked #5 in the Class 4A Prep Hoops Indiana Preseason poll led by senior guard [player_tooltip player_id='1158209' first='Aaron' last='Fine'], senior wing [player_tooltip player_id='1275012' first='Hunter' last='Walston'], and sophomore guard [player_tooltip player_id='1534261' first='Justin' last='Curry II']. That trio will face Eastern Kentucky signee [player_tooltip player_id='1275780' first='Micah' last='Davis'] in this one as the Grizzly Cubs look to build off of their win over Indian Creek. In the end, the Millers likely have too much depth for Franklin to pull this one out.

Jeffersonville @ Cathedral

This will be a fun one as Jeffersonville comes up to Indianapolis to take on the Fighting Irish. Cathedral opened the season with a very impressive 92-71 win over Warren Central on Wednesday evening led by [player_tooltip player_id='1525663' first='Brady' last='Koehler'] scoring 26 points. The 6'8" junior wing will face-off against a trio of talented classmates in this one as 6'7" [player_tooltip player_id='1388408' first='Tre' last='Singleton'] along with [player_tooltip player_id='1373104' first='P.J.' last='Douglas'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1297093' first='Michael' last='Cooper'] lead the charge for the Red Devils. Jeffersonville is ranked #13 in the Preseason Prep Hoops Indiana Super Poll while Cathedral checks in at #17.

Providence @ Brownstown Central

One of the small school games of the year will take place this evening as the 2022 Class 2A State Champion Providence Pioneers travel to face the preseason Class 2A #1 Brownstown Central Braves. Purdue signee [player_tooltip player_id='1158245' first='Jack' last='Benter'] is a Mr. Basketball candidate and one of the top scorers in the state, but the Pioneers are consistently one of the best defensive teams in the state. [player_tooltip player_id='1287890' first='Noah' last='Lovan'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1578457' first='Quentin' last='Hesse'] are the guys to watch for Providence. This battle between #1 and #3 in 2A will be a preview of what has become a yearly battle in Sectional 46.

Westfield @ Kokomo

Pretty much any game that Kansas commit [player_tooltip player_id='1363488' first='Flory' last='Bidunga'] plays this season could be labeled as a game to watch as Indiana High School Basketball fans should take every opportunity to see him play while they can. He is that special of a player. However, this matchup is especially intriguing as the preseason #2 Wildkats take on #6 Westfield featuring 6'8" Oak Hill transfer [player_tooltip player_id='2079499' first='Nic' last='Book']. The New Zealand native will get his first taste of Indiana High School Basketball against one of the best prospects our state has seen in 20 years.
