A good ball handling guard who done a good job running the offense in half-court, though he works off the ball as well. He shows patience up top, he moves the ball around without a lot of wasted dribbles. He had a few drive and kicks, he used a jump stop, then pass in the paint. He’s shown he can be a threat behind the 3pt line.
He’s fast, strong with good leverage. He has the ability to put points on the board in different ways. He uses hard dribbles and attacks the basket from different angles, he’s good in transition. He has a good mid-range pull-up off the dribble. He’s more of the combo guard, he’s a willing passer, sees the court. He averaged 18.5 last season.
The uptempo game gives him an opportunity to showcase his determination on the defensive side of the ball. He has good foot speed, lateral movement, and active hands for deflections. He works to stay in front, help on the traps. He’s a good ball handler who’ll make the extra pass.
He’s a solid body prospect with an improving skill set. He has the body to bang the boards for rebounds, and the know how to work away from the basket, a ball mover, no wasted dribbles, passing, and cutting. He can hit the short jumper, and use his body to work his way into the paint. He can defend bigger players in the post.
Johnson played his way onto our radar after a good showing in the Section 7 title game in Arizona. He gave good minutes off the bench defending his position, taking it strong to the basket, and hitting a couple of big baskets when the team needed one. He has good foot speed, he can hit the 3-point shot.
The 6’3 W/F is back with the Huskies this season, he’ll serve as an undersized post who’ll work mostly from the post area, though he handles and passes along the perimeter too. He has a solid body to rebound and defend bigger prospects. He’s a passer, screener, and can step out to hit a 3ptr.
He’s a combo guard with good foot speed and lateral movement on the defensive side of the ball. He’s a good ball handler, and ball mover on the offense. He has good speed filling the lanes in transition. He’ll give good effort on the defensive side.
