6. Delaware Hayes

Already projected to be one of the top teams in central Ohio with Ohio Bobcat commit [player_tooltip player_id='1222373' first='Jesse' last='Burris'], the Pacers added transfer [player_tooltip player_id='1432060' first='Landon' last='Vanderwalker'] to boost their rotation. Combine that with plenty of shooters and depth at the guard position and the Pacers will be a tough offense to defend.

5. Garfield Heights

A loaded roster, [player_tooltip player_id='1705948' first='Marcus' last='Johnson'] leads the way after a first team all-state freshman season with a senior laden core that includes DeAndre Jones, [player_tooltip player_id='1222346' first='Calvin' last='Little'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1222357' first='Carter' last='Jackson']. All three are committed to Kent State, Fairmont State and Canisius respectively. Combine that with young 2026 and 2027 talent ready to make a name this season, Garfield Heights has a deep roster. Always playing one of the toughest schedules in northeast Ohio, the Bulldogs will be battle tested come playoff time.

4. Toledo Whitmer

The class of northwest Ohio, Whitmer has a team that on paper could dominate the region. [player_tooltip player_id='1432018' first='Antione' last='West Jr'] has taken a huge step and looks poised to be one of the top guards in Ohio. [player_tooltip player_id='1432039' first='Makhi' last='Leach'] comes from Toledo Central Catholic to add more depth at the guard position. Ta'Marrion Davis is a senior who should play a big role and guards Damien Clay and Elijah McLeod can play a role. If the pieces come together, sky is the limit for the Panthers.
