New Hampstead (12-14)

Don't sleep on New Hampstead. The Phoenix graduate their only Region 3 First Teamer but have everyone else back. New Hampstead has strong guard play between [player_tooltip player_id='2335810' first='Antoine' last='Youmans'], [player_tooltip player_id='2333088' first='Toland' last='Daughtry'] and star quarterback Rashawn Truell, a knockdown three-point shooter. Junior [player_tooltip player_id='2333099' first='Kentavius' last='Woodbury'] provides athleticism and length to the perimeter. Keep an eye on impact making freshman [player_tooltip player_id='2173403' first='AJ' last='Williams']. Coach Jeff Williams' son may very well put the Phoenix over the top and help lead New Manchester to a Region 3 title.

Harden is a breakout candidate in the backcourt. Senior holdovers Rashim Rondon and Jiquavious Marshall are experienced in Coach Josh Grube's system.

Baldwin (18-11)

Back to Baldwin. The Braves return two potent scorers in Isaiah Dennis (17.2 ppg) and [player_tooltip player_id='2119743' first='Tre' last='Lawrence'] (15.2 ppg). Three other double-digit scorers graduate, but new Head Coach Ben Smith will have Baldwin prepared for every battle in a competition Region 2 which houses Westside-Macon and Spalding.
