Fort was named MVP of the Capitol Hoops Summer League playoffs and continues to steadily improve as his stock rises. All things considered, the versatile 6’8″ forward might have been a bad omission from the first team.
Gurdak gives the Eagles a go-to-man inside who can score with his back to the basket. Having the 6’10” big man patrol the paint is a luxury for Gonzaga. Gurdak’s forceful presence on the interior could be the x-factor.
Highlights
Lewis was outstanding for 17u Team Durant on the EYBL this summer. The creative lead guard prospect took on a high usage rate and produced efficiently under pressure. In my mind, Lewis is firmly in contention for the first team and was an easy name to place on this list.
Rougier-Roane is routinely flying around the court making plays on both ends for the Quakers. He relishes crunch time and will certainly be a factor in the most crucial moments.
Shackleford remains one of the more promising young guard prospects in the area. With another year under of high-quality experience under his belt, his stock could be on the rise nationally.
It appears that Witherspoon will take on a vital two-way role for the Cadets this winter. The versatile 6’4″ guard could be as important to his team as any other player within the WCAC.
