Declan Wucherpfennig Declan Wucherpfennig 6'7" | PF Bergen Catholic | 2025 State NJ , 6’7 PF Bergen Catholic
Wucherpfennig has the potential to have a breakout season for the Crusaders as he’ll be the go-to guy down low for them. The 6’7 forward finishes strong around the basket and does not mind contact. Wucherpfennig has a solid handle and can knock down jumpers on the perimeter. He is a strong rebounder and influences shots around the basket. Wucherpfennig’s ability to score inside and out is something that will help his stock in a big way this season.
Nas Hart Nas Hart 6'8" | PF College Achieve | 2025 State #159 Nation NJ , 6’8 F College Achieve
Hart is one of the most intriguing prospects in the state and should put his skillset on display this season. The lanky 6’8 forward explodes off the floor for dunks and finishes nicely around the basket. Hart uses his handle to get to his spot on the floor and rises up with confidence over smaller defenders. He uses his athleticism to make plays on the defensive end and skies for rebounds at both ends of the floor. Hart is a long, forward prospect who should put up big numbers for College Achieve in 2023-24.
Keith McKnight Keith McKnight 6'5" | SG Hudson Catholic | 2025 State #200 Nation NJ , 6’4 SG Hudson Catholic
McKnight is a smooth guard prospect who joins a talented Hawks’ backcourt. The 6’4 guard has a tight handle, which he uses to blow by his defender off the bouncer and finish in a variety of ways around the rim. McKnight does not get rattled by on-ball pressure and can knock down open jumpers from behind the arc. He has the length to defend multiple spots on the floor and is an underrated passer. McKnight is a talented guard prospect who will be looking to make a big impact in 2023-24 for Hudson Catholic.
Yaw Ansong Yaw Ansong 6'11" | C Union Catholic | 2025 State #345 Nation NJ , 6’11 C Union Catholic
Ansong has a chance for a big junior campaign as he should get more touches on the offensive end. The 6’11 post finishes strong above the rim and can draw contact around the rim. Ansong has a nice release on his free throws and sets good screens in the halfcourt. He swats almost everything around the basket and fights for rebounds on both ends of the floor. Ansong’s ability to control the paint is something that will help Union Catholic nicely as the Vikings look to repeat as Non-Public A champions.
Z’yaire Simmons Z’yaire Simmons 6'5" | SF Paterson Kennedy | 2025 State NJ , 6’5 SF Paterson Kennedy
Simmons had a huge 2022-23 season and is looking to build upon it in 2023-24. The 6’5 wing has a good handle, which he uses to get into the lane and finish in a number of ways around the basket. Simmons uses his size to see over his defender and can make good passes in the halfcourt. He makes plays on the defensive end and is a strong rebounder. Simmons is a versatile forward prospect who should fill up the stat sheet this season.
