By now you are familiar with the Inter-AC ballers we are talking about. Names like Ryan Williams Ryan Williams 6'3" | SG Malvern Prep | 2024 State PA (Northeastern commit), Matt Gilhool Matt Gilhool 6'11" | PF William Penn Charter | 2025 State #76 Nation PA , Camden Burns Camden Burns 6'0" | CG SCH Academy | 2024 State PA , Kevin McCarthy Kevin McCarthy 6'4" | SG Episcopal Academy | 2024 State PA , and Jake West Jake West 6'3" | PG William Penn Charter | 2025 State #193 Nation PA .
Running the court with those No. 1 options will be a group of prospects who are not household names yet, but they will contribute heavily for their varsity teams this winter and play at the next level.
Today we want to highlight six of these Inter-AC athletes so this winter when someone asks you, “What’s His Name?” you will know the answer.
Jacob Becker Jacob Becker 6'4" | SG Haverford School | 2025 State PA – 6’4” / 2025 / Haverford School / Pro Level Titans / Shooting Guard: This versatile and talented lefty comes to Haverford School from Pioneer Academy (NY). With his length and physicality, Becker will have an immediate impact for the Fords on the glass at both ends. On offense Becker can drain threes, score through contact, and create off the dribble. His quickness, handles, athleticism and hops will catch opponents by surprise. Becker is a plus defender who can guard 3 through 5.
Jayden Driver Jayden Driver 6'2" | CG William Penn Charter | 2026 State PA – 6’2” / 2026 / Penn Charter / K-Low Elite / Combo Guard: The high-profile transfers that arrived on PC’s campus this fall have garnered a ton of headlines, but this shifty backcourt prospect has been the program’s breakout star over the last two months. Driver’s speed and elusive dribbling skills make him difficult to keep out of the paint in transition and the half-court. Driver also can knock home threes as well as pull-up jumpers. As a nice bonus, Driver is a solid distributor. At the other end, his non-stop motor and quick hands enable Driver to generate steals and deflections.
Langston Foster Langston Foster 6'1" | PG Episcopal Academy | 2026 State PA – 6’1″ / 2026 / Episcopal Academy / Philly Pride Select / Wing: Bringing in transfers Matt McCarthy Matt McCarthy 6'2" | SG Episcopal Academy | 2025 State PA and Keron Booth created a nice buzz for EA hoops. But the addition of the muti-skilled and athletic Foster is flying under the radar. Last year at Lower Merion, Foster proved he could score in the open court and pop threes consistently. Foster’s dribble pull-up skills must be respected as well. His ability to slash to the cup for a catch and lay-in is often overlooked.
Nick Harken Nick Harken 6'4" | SF Malvern Prep | 2027 State PA – 6’3″ / 2027 / Malvern Prep / East Coast Power / Wing: Harken is a freshman with the skills and size to have an immediate impact for MP. He is a multi-dimensional and athletic prospect who can run as a shooting guard, point-forward or wing-forward. Harken can score at all three levels, facilitate, and rebound. He excels as a primary ball handler or playing off the ball. In short, he is a playmaker. Plus, Harken plays with composure that is beyond his years.
Ellis Johnson – 6’3″ / 2025 / Germantown Academy / Next Play / Shooting Guard: In 2022-23, Johnson cracked the varsity rotation early on, and over time he proved to be a key piece for GA. We anticipate that his junior campaign will be Johnson’s breakout season. His main weapon is popping jumpers from all over the floor. Additionally, he thrives on the fast break. Johnson is an excellent passer too. At the other end, Johnson has a knack for producing steals and deflections.
Kameron Waters Kameron Waters 6'2" | CG SCH Academy | 2025 State PA – 6’2″ / 2025 / SCH Academy / BW Elite / Combo Guard: Waters is a high energy prospect who contributes to every facet of the game. He can play as a point guard, shooting guard or wing. His best asset might be his court vision and passing skills. He frequently delivers unexpected, crowd-pleasing dimes from anywhere on the court. Waters is also a high percentage 3-point shooter. His speed and athleticism enable Waters get out in transition for buckets.
