Today we want to dig deeper into the Pennsylvania Class of 2025 rankings and review a group of players who used the camps and showcases in August as a well as September's fall ball action to increase their recruiting stock significantly.

Below is a review of six southeastern Pennsylvania 2025 “stock risers” you need to keep an eye on for the remainder of this fall and into the 2023-24 season.

25 to 11…[player_tooltip player_id='1136565' first='Jake' last='West'] – 6'3″ / Penn Charter / [program_tooltip program_id='2078709' first='Team' last='Final'] EYBL / Combo Guard: Last season West posted respectable numbers in the PCL -- 13 points, 3.5 assists and 3 rebounds per game while shooting 39% from behind the arc. But based on the recent developments in his game, we are predicting that West's stat line will skyrocket this coming season. Over the last three months, West has displayed improved dribbling and finishing skills as well as a heightened level of athleticism. He holds a dozen division one offers, and that number is sure to increase.

42 to 20…[player_tooltip player_id='1867328' first='Isaac' last='Cole'] – 6'7″ / West Catholic / [program_tooltip program_id='2078709' first='Team' last='Final'] / Wing: Cole was one of the biggest stock risers to come out of last month's Philly HS Live sessions. With his astonishing athleticism, quickness and a tremendous feel for the game, Cole would be a natural fit in Nick Nurse's offense that features constant movement. Additionally, Cole can produce points off the dribble, shoot jumpers from all over the court and play in pick-n-roll action. He excels on the fast break too. This past week Cole picked up an offer from St. Bonaventure.

123 to 48…[player_tooltip player_id='2047528' first='Kodi' last='Johnson'] – 6'6″ / Phelps School / PA Coalition / Small Forward: Johnson (23 ppg. & 7.5 rpg. last year) makes a major move up our rankings after he displayed a more polished offensive skill set of late. In the past this long and super athletic wing relied heavily on his superior physical assets to get buckets. Now those assets are combined with a nice bag of mid-range moves, the ability to get to the tin off the dribble and a 3-point shot that must be respected. With his size as well as athleticism and his three level scoring skills, Johnson should see a flood of college offers soon.

128 to 66…[player_tooltip player_id='1865344' first='Adrian' last='Brito'] – 6'5” / Pocono Mountain West / NEPA Elite / Small Forward: This traditional small forward prospect averaged 12.4 ppg. year and is headed for an even bigger junior season. Brito's back to the basket skills and his face up game continue to take steps forward. Brito has also displayed better finishing skills, especially through contact. However, it is his steadily advancing 3-point skills that is the most intriguing development. If Brito turns into a stretch-4 prospect, there is no limit to his ceiling. In either scenario he can power through extreme contact for a bucket. Brito also cleans the glass at both ends and is a plus defender. He holds an offer from FDU.

286 to 80…[player_tooltip player_id='1867330' first='Deacon' last='Baratta'] – 6'4” / Phoenixville / [program_tooltip program_id='2078678' first='East' last='Coast Power']-Horvath / Combo Guard: If you watched Baratta (11 ppg.; 5 rpg.; 43 3PM in 2022-23) play over the last three months then you know why he has taken such an epic rise in our 2025 rankings. Baratta is well rounded prospect who now can do everything on the court. He drains shots from all over the floor, scores off the bounce, plays in transition, distributes, rebounds and block shots. As a bonus, his high basketball IQ enables Baratta to serve as a leader out on the court.

190 to 139…[player_tooltip player_id='1867327' first='Quadeair' last='Smith'] – 6'3” / Audenried / Kings Olympus / Wing: This long, bouncy, and extremely athletic wing prospect proved in recent months that he is unstoppable off the dribble. Smith's instincts, crafty handles and quickness enable him to get to his mid-range spots or all the way to the rack. His more aggressive approach of late in the open court really impressed us. Now when Smith gets to the rim he will not be denied and has a knack for dunking on foes. Recently Smith has exhibited a more concentrated effort at the defensive end too.
