Watford does a little bit of everything on the floor with his game. He scores the ball, rebounds it, passes it and really gets after it at all times. Jordan plays the game to the fullest and is always out to win that’s for sure. Watford is extremely efficient with his play while on the floor. He’s determined to execute and WIN it’s not always about scoring the ball.
Teal Jr is a nightmare at times with his ability to get downhill and overpower defenders to the cup. Melvin looks to bully people by playing physical at all times. He can extend the defense with his ability to knockdown shots on the floor. Melvin is a 3-level scorer that constantly brings effort out every time he touches the hardwood.
Britt has good size from the backcourt along with a good basketball IQ. LJ is versatile enough to play multiple positions on both ends of the court. He finishes at a good clip at the bucket with either hand when he’s not looking to knockdown a jumper. LJ plays the game extremely unselfish almost to a fault at times.
Dunbar has a great mid-range game with his ability to convert shots. He has good upper body strength to fight off defenders on the way to the cup. Daron connected on some pull-up jumpers here today. He really looks to take quality shots at all times while on the floor. Dunbar never seems to panic and always plays with a good demeanor on the floor.
Goodman plays down in the Lowcountry at the new Hampton County HS. He previously played at Wade Hampton HS before it merged with Estill HS this past summer. Goodman is a very versatile young man with good length. Joshua can handle the rock some up the floor, defend out on the wing or in the front court or simply play out on wing. He’s currently playing football for the Hurricanes as a Wide Receiver.
Cisse is playing football this fall for the Gators as a Wide Receiver-Defensive Back. Cedric really likes to use ball-screens to advance the rock to the bucket. He will tuhe corner at times and race by defenders. Cisse is a table-setter on the floor with his ability to be a pass-first guy. He’s very capable of making shots out on the perimeter and scoring the ball.
Crawford really showed some good glimpses here today with his play. Javion will play with his back to the basket while posting up down on the block. He does a nice job of keeping the ball up high after claiming it off the glass. He plays his best basketball and most effective closer to the basket.
Jones has a quick trigger from behind the arc. Carson has grown a bit it seems since the Grassroots season. Jones has deep range on his shot and can really get on fire when given the opportunity. Carson moves well without the ball and always seems to be ready to shoot the ball from the pocket.
Highlights
Cooley was a nice surprise here today with his play. Roman was able to slash to the cup and finish at the rim here this afternoon. He constantly was making buckets it seems even from behind the three-point line. Roman showed a nice touch on the foul line.
