Showed his explosive with the ball early in game one. One of his guards told me, “he carried us” in the first game against Nasir price. Great at playing off the catch using two when near the rim. The biggest performance of day one posting scoring efforts of averaging 41 points in two games. His athletic ability combined with passing skills made him day one top performer. His defense led to easy transition points. Lanier made people get out their seats one fast breaks.
The big body just made plays happen. His motor made it hard for defenses to stop him from getting paint touches. Player that always get his hands on the loose ball. Plays bigger than his size under the rim.
Highlights
The long wing showed his special he can be in transition. Good shooting skills off the catch that can turn him into a good two-way player. Knows how to use length to his advantage.
Played one game, but that was all it took for him to stand out. Poured in an efficient 20 points scoring off the bounce in the lane and hitting shots. Technical basketball player that understand using angles.
