It was a good weekend for NorCal prospects looking to compete and gain exposure at one of the West Coasts top events. Here’s more in our 2026 class who competed at this event.
Andrews continues to raise his stock in NorCal. He’s a quality point guard with good handles and excellent vision in transition and in the half-court. He’s shown he can be a facilitator that can find open players. He’s a solid body with good moves, and the ability to get by defenders, and into the paint, pass or shoot. He can be assertive at times when going to get a bucket.
He’s a solid guard that can handle well enough to create shot opportunities for himself. He’s a good ball mover, and willing passer, but doesn’t hesitate to put up a good shot. He has good balance and a solid body he uses to be physical inside, and finishing drives through contact. He hits the mid-range jumper off the dribble, make open 3’s. He can hits 3’s coming down in rhythm. At 6’3 he’s strong enough to help with rebounding.
He’s steadily improving as a player, showing he can be a versatile player, playing different position on the court including point. At 6’3 with a solid body he moves, handles and passes it in open court. He’s shown at times he can use hard dribbles, and his body to get into the paint for jumpers, and points off two feet. He’s a bit off balance but he still finishes. At 6’3 he has the size and strength to rebounds and defend bigger players on the court.
He’s the quick handed point guard who’ll generate a number of steals, and non-contested layups on the defensive side of the ball. He’s a good on ball defender in the full court. He’s a good ball handling point guard, pass first looking to make the offense run smooth. He has a nice crossover mover to get into the paint for floaters, and paint jumpers, he has a mid-range off the dribble that goes in.
It’s not always easy to show your self in these type of events. Oscona had his ups and downs. He’s a prospect in NorCal we’ll be seeing more of. He has good speed and handles to create shot for himself and others. He can get there and finish in different ways around the rim. He has a good first step along with a ball fake to get by defenders. His mid-range jumper, and 3-point shot are also shots he can make. We’ll see more of him.
