The Fall basketball season is coming to a close with November being a little over a week away. NJ Hoop Recruit held their Hooptober Fest on Saturday and it did not disappoint as players had big performances throughout the day. Here are the top standouts from the NJ Hoop Recruit Hooptober Fest.

[player_tooltip player_id='1153987' first='London' last='Carson'], 6'4 CG Elizabeth 2024

Carson had a monster performance as he poured in 32 points against Camden Eastside. The 6'4 guard played with extreme confidence as he got to his spot on the floor all game and splashed triples from distance. Carson attacked the basket strong as he elevated for numerous dunks during the game and was unafraid of drawing contact in the lane. He used his quick hands to get steals on defense and swatted a pair of shots around the basket, including an impressive pin against the glass. Carson will be a performer to watch in the Garden State all season if he can continue to play like he did on Saturday.

[player_tooltip player_id='2148602' first='Eric' last='Hillsman'], 6'7 W Roselle Catholic 2026

Hillsman hit the game-winning layup as time expired to give Roselle Catholic the win against Camden Eastside. The 6'7 lefty was aggressive in the second half as he attacked the basket with confidence and finish nicely around the basket. Hillsman used his handle to create space off the bounce and was able to draw contact around the rim. He used his length to be disruptive on the defensive end and moved well without the ball in his hands. Hillsman is a lanky wing prospect whose ability to finish around the rim is something that will help his stock in a big way.

[player_tooltip player_id='1580579' first='Matt' last='Hodge'], 6'8 PF St. Rose 2024

Hodge was dominant on Saturday as Camden had no answer for him on the floor. The Villanova commit operated the offense effectively as he threaded passes to teammates in the halfcourt and pushed the pace well in transition. Hodge used his handle to beat his defender of the bounce and threw down a couple of emphatic dunks in the game. He skied for rebounds on both ends of the floor and influenced shots around the rim on defense. Hodge is a versatile forward prospect who should fill up the stat sheet this season.

[player_tooltip player_id='1595669' first='Chidi' last='Nwigwe'], 6'6 W St. Benedict's 2026

Nwigwe put his talent on full display against Eagle Academy as he scored the ball in a variety of ways. The 6'6 wing was not rattled by on-ball pressure as he got to his spot on the floor and shot the ball with confidence from distance. Nwigwe used his quick first step to beat his defender off the bounce and finished strong around the basket. He used his length to generate turnovers on defense and moved well without the ball in his hands. Nwigwe is a talented wing prospect who should put up big numbers this season for St. Benedict's.

[player_tooltip player_id='2107672' first='Will' last='Syndor'], 6'9 PF Patrick School 2024

Syndor had a strong day at Hooptober Fest as he was able to influence the game at both ends of the floor. The lanky 6'9 forward was aggressive off the bounce as he looked to dunk everything around the basket. Syndor used his length to see over his defender and got to his spot on the floor. He altered shots around the basket with his length and fought for rebounds on both ends of the floor. Syndor's combination of length and skill makes him an intriguing prospect to watch in the 2024 class.
