Perry helped lead Martin Luther to a 1-1 record showcasing his ability as both a scorer and facilitator. He keeps a low center of gravity with the ball in his hands, allowing him to come off screens tight while keeping his defender pinned to his hip. This allowed him to burst to the basket for some finishes, while also opening up some space to hit his big with a bounce pass rolling to the rim. Had some excellent passes just threading the needle through the defense. Perry has a dangerous jumper from both three and mid-range, with a quick release allowing him to get off a good look with limited space. Should be in for a big junior season as he’ll take a jump into an even bigger role.
He may not have had the numbers that guys like Devin Brown Devin Brown 6’7″ | PF Milwaukee Academy Of Science | 2025 State #196 Nation WI and Jamarion Batemon Jamarion Batemon 6’3″ | CG Milwaukee Academy of Science | 2025 State #174 Nation WI did in this particular game, but against Oshkosh North I thought Agape did a great job of playing smart basketball. Keys was constantly setting up his teammates with accurate passes and putting them in positions to get off good shots. Whether it was off of pick & rolls, cross-court passes, or getting out in transition, Agape knew when and where the ball had to be. Night in and night out he’s going to bring toughness on the defensive end, and unselfish passing to the point guard spot for his team.
I know I’ve had him on this list the past two weeks as well, but Myles just keeps upping his level of play. Against a tough Martin Luther team, Myles came out putting on a show with some impressive finishes. In the play of the day he hesitated on the ball before exploding to the rim, taking off from two feet before doing a complete 360 in mid-air and finishing with a reverse lay-up. It was the type of play you’d see in NBA Street, but Myles pulled it off in a real game through multiple defenders. Outside of that finish he continued to shoot the ball well, and looked way more explosive than he did just a year ago. Really excited to see what Myles can do during the varsity season this year.
Bennett has no problem playing within the flow of the offense, but as he showed against Tosa West he can also take over when needed. He helped lead Arrowhead to a big win in that game as he was shooting it at a high level from three. When his defender was sagging off there was no hesitation from Bennett to let it fly. Bennett can knock down shots off the catch, but showcased his ability to create separation with limited dribbles as well. Really like his defensive versatility and competitiveness, as he’s not afraid to guard an opposing team’s best player regardless of position.

Edwards helped lead Carmen NW past Kenosha ITA in a tough matchup. He started off high school as more of an explosive slasher who can finish at a high level, and he still has that ability, but I’ve been impressed by his improvements as a shooter. Defenders can’t afford to sag off and play the drive, and against ITA he was making the defense pay for giving him too much space. Also has the explosive athleticism that allows him to pressure the ball hard, force turnovers, and create easy buckets out of his defensive effort.
Nicolet was shorthanded in their matchup with BC, and Anthony wasn’t giving their guards a single moment of rest. He was pressuring the ball non-stop, showcasing his quick hands to just pick his man’s pocket consistently. Probably had 4-5 steals generated with his on-ball defense, with a vast majority of those resulting in easy lay-ups on the other end. He possesses a lot of the traits you love to have in a floor general, as he’s a tough as nails defender that makes smart decisions with the ball to consistently get himself and his teammates high percentage shots.

Kenosha ITA came up short against Carmen NW, but MJ showed why he’s not only one of the best forwards in the state, but also one of the most entertaining. He can turn any touch on the block into a dunk just by creating the slightest angle to elevate. MJ is such an explosive athlete who can outrun opposing bigs in transition, and utilizes his bounce to block/alter shots on defense at a high level. I love his ability to highpoint rebounds, and his improved handle allows him to take a board and go coast-to-coast on his own when he has a bit of space. Does a great job of playing off two feet which keeps him on balance when he looks to finish off the drive.
