Anderson Court Fall League Review: WV BlueChips

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Prep Hoops WV was in the building September 30th and October 1st to see four games, all that featured the WV BlueChips sponsored team. The WV BlueChips roster features kids from all over WV that needed help getting exposure and playing vs. top competition. The WV BlueChips representatives had requested to play the top competition in the league and on September 30th that's exactly what they got. The opener for WVBC was vs. a stacked roster in the Linsly Academy which features at least one D1 prospect in [player_tooltip player_id='2114397' first='D'arrae' last='Goodwin'] who's already received several offers. The second game of 9/30 was vs a big, young and athletic Spring Mills program. WVBC players were absolutely put to the test as they were trying to gain some chemistry and confidence. In the end, a great display put on by the BlueChips players as well on 10/1 with many of whom are small school players that attacked the challenge of Morgantown HS as well as University HS and overcome the lack of time on the floor with their new teammates. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:acf/evaluation-block neutralize opponents.  Isaly with great elevation on said jumper, will soon grab lots of coaches' attention once that jumper becomes consistent.  Next level defender and plays with great pace when the bucket.  Max always displaying his next level defense, high basketball IQ and offensive versatility, D2/D3 coaches should inquire quickly about this 2025 player_id='1851974' first='Jayallen' last='Turner'] was huge for the BlueChips squad.  Voluntarily taking on opponents' toughest player, Turner played fast and strong, just as he's always shown.  Turner who showed quality mid-range shot making ability as well, put on display everything that makes him one of WV's top 2024's and a target of high level D2's in-state and player_id='1851969' first='Zion' last='Blevins'] was expected to dominate and that's what he did.  Actually, showing skills that many had not seen as of yet, Blevins displayed a strong level of comfort guarding anywhere on the floor whether it be a guard or post, as well as playing on the wing or in the post on offense.  Greatly dynamic and versatile, Blevins has shot up in stock since his September 30th showing in Morgantown.  Blevins's willingness to take on any defensive assignment and excel in the task will land him with a higher level player_id='2208755' first='Kwynsie' last='Pittsnogle'] has been a pleasant surprise for everyone at AC Fall League.  The Hedgesville product has brought his 6'9u0022 frame to Morgantown and shown a nice balance of skills while competing.  Pittsnogle has not hesitated to mix things up in the paint and has improved his finishing ability there.  All the while KP has also been able to show his shooting range from deep just as we might associate with the Pittsnogle name.  A quickly improving player, while a little rough around the edges yet, KP's size matched with skills set can't be ignored.  We'd anticipate a break through senior player_id='2208825' first='Zane' last='Saunders'] is one of the more intriguing 2025 prospects and left no doubt he's on the rise and quickly.  The junior at South Charleston, Saunders showed himself to be assertive and skilled in the paint.  He has the athletic ability to work himself into a true stretch 4 and showed flashes while at AC.  A big junior campaign at SC is likely in player_id='2208724' first='Ashton' last='Gute'] provides energy and entertainment while on the floor and it was no different at AC Fall League.  The 5'8u0022 stick of dynamite pushed the ball with distribution and scoring throughout his two games.  The Cross Lanes Christian product is a bulldog defensively and will likely have a big school player_id='1309597' first='Xavier' last='Kirk'] might be the best 2025 you haven't heard about yet.  This ultra-athletic combo guard has well balanced skill set for a guard and plays defense with the utmost intensity.  Kirk was a smooth scorer from all levels and daunting on defense while on the BlueChips roster.   Also a Hedgesville product, Kirk will be counted on to lead his school team in many categories, while likely being called on to take the tougher defensive assignments.  He'll be at the top of most guard prospect lists going into the spring/summer of player_id='2208722' first='Cole' last='Joy'] is always a bonus to have on your roster and was no disappointment while at AC Fall League.  A nice combination of smooth, athletic and smart, Joy was always comfortable at the point or off guard while playing.  Meshed in nicely with other players and took his scoring opportunities when needed.  Joy will lead Parkersburg South team in several statistical categories this coming season judging by his summer and fall league stat lines.  Joy will likely have multiple D3 offers by season player_id='2208839' first='Nate' last='Rodriguez'] finally got to run with the BlueChips on 10/7 and was able to lock in on defense and turn it loose on offense.  Nate is a strong and sure pg who's developing his jumper as well as strengthening his reputation as a great on ball defender.  Nate's development on the offensive end will determine a landing spot but D3 would be a safe bet in player_id='1578750' first='Jayden' last='Bryant'] came aboard the BlueChips roster for day one and quickly found his shooting touch.  A wing with great size Bryant definitely has the jumper to translate to the next level.  Once he develops his 1-2 dribble jumper it'll be enough for coaches to start player_id='1463045' first='Preston' last='Luzader'] jumped on the BlueChips roster 10/1 and immediately made an impact.  Facing a big task vs two AAAA opponents Luzader didn't back down.  The 6'6u0022 Clay-Battelle product banged and battled inside and made his presence known.  Luzader definitely has mid range capabilities and qualities and when developed is probably on some D2 radars along with most D3's within reasonable distance of Marion player_id='2208763' first='Ethan' last='McGee'] was a name we knew but hadn't seen in person and first impression is solid.  Ethan is a long athletic wing type player with great bounce.  Has the raw abilities to be a really good two way player and the size and athleticism to get onto a college roster.  His development over the next 8 months could get him onto campus and
