is a top ten stronghold for reasons that are quite obvious. Blevins leads one of the state’s most notable programs back to Charleston once again and he of course is one of their main reasons for success. Blevins has a college ready body and guards spots 1 through 5. No question one of WV’s most versatile players which is why he is getting high level D2 consideration based on his willingness and effectiveness to guard anyone on the floor and with his size it translates well to the next level.

is one of the quickest rising prospects in WV. Many schools kept tabs for a couple years and this past season proved enough to gain an offer from University of Pikeville (UPike), an NAIA based in Kentucky and close to home for Blevins. But as Zion’s skill and physical development became better known throughout the summer, he started gaining interest from at least one high level D2 in the MEC. Once coaches see him play this season, he’ll lock in several more offers as well.

Zion is a dynamic basketball player. He has already shown to be one of the state’s best post players, yet he is actually better suited to be a wing at the next level and is projected as such. Zion can guard 1 through 5 and has proved to be effective guarding other college prospects at those positions. He also shoots the ball well and is more than capable of putting the ball on the floor.

was expected to dominate and that’s what he did. Actually, showing skills that many had not seen as of yet, Blevins displayed a strong level of comfort guarding anywhere on the floor whether it be a guard or post, as well as playing on the wing or in the post on offense. Greatly dynamic and versatile, Blevins has shot up in stock since his September 30th showing in Morgantown. Blevins’s willingness to take on any defensive assignment and excel in the task will land him with a higher level D2.

has quickly become a household name in WV basketball. His solid and consistent performance at the WV State High School Tournament has propelled him into recruiting conversations at multiple levels. A long athletic slick shooting forward, we’d anticipate Blevins landing in the D2 level and performing well. Blevins who hails from Chapmanville High School will be on the WV BlueChips roster for AC Fall League.

has recently become the topic of nearly every college coach looking in WV. His size and athleticism lend itself to his development at a exceptional stretch 4 at the next level. His tremendous improvement as a player from sophomore to junior years was put on great display in the WV High School State Tournament this past spring as he proved to be a mismatch for anyone that challenged. D3 and NAIA have him squarely on their radar while D2 coaches are warming up to this 6’7″ prospect. His physical development through his senior year will determine the recruiting path he ultimately takes as a player.

is a 6’7″ small forward that plays for Chapmanville High School in West Virginia. Blevins is the number 2 ranked small forward on the Big Shot’s website. He is a nightmare matchup for opposing bigs. He is more often than not quicker than most of them, finishes well at the hole, can hit the mid-range and has worked on his outside touch to become a very productive shot maker from 3. Blevins work ethic is what sets him apart. He wants to be great. You can see the work he puts into his game to be the best product of himself he can be. Blevins comes into his senior year with the determination to lead his team to a state title in 2023-2024.

Blevins brings good versatility to the floor for the Tigers. Zion has a slender build and some good quicks on the floor. He moves well from side to side and end to end with his play.
Zion connected on some short jumpers and showed very good athleticism while covering a lot of ground on the floor. Blevins is a long and skilled forward with a good motor. He really does a nice job of hitting the glass on both ends. Zion is a above average passer from the high post at times.
