is pound for pound one of the best pure point guards in WV. He is all downhill and makes every right decision. We’ve seen him versus high level, 3A and 4A competition in WV and his tempo and energy aren’t deterred or slowed. A pure point guard who looks to distribute and make the right play as well as control tempo. A guard that can score efficiently when asked as well as take on his defensive role as on ball defender at a high level. Gute would be an asset for any program (D2/NAIA/D3/Juco) and a coach’s dream.

has posted yet another week with dazzling back to back performances that include 27 points, 4 assists, 3 steals and 2 rebounds vs Wood Co. Christian and 24 points, 8 rebounds, 4 steals and 3 assists vs Elk Valley. Most impressively is stats from a big win vs Teays Valley Christian that include 20 points, 5 assists, 3 steals, 2 rebounds. Gute is on a run of high powered performances since this past spring/summer AAU season and isn’t done yet.

The mighty 5’7″ continues his reign of terror against WV small school opponents posting an impressive 23 points, 4 assists, 6 steals and 2 rebound statline this week versus single A Montcalm. Gute we truly believe is a college level pg who affects a game in so many ways with his raw speed and energy.

Ashton Gute lit up the gym Friday night pouring in 33 points with 5 rebounds, 4 assists and 6 steals while grabbing tournament MVP vs Hannan. Gute has had a more than solid 2023 starting in spring through summer and fall extending into school season.

Gute is a player you really need to see in person to fully appreciate. Our first time seeing him in person was nothing short of entertaining yet seeing him be efficient and effective. The height might give some coaches pause, but this kid makes up for it in so many ways. A dynamic player that can score when necessary, yet balance the floor and facilitate, we are confident Gute will find a college program that understands his full value.

provides energy and entertainment while on the floor and it was no different at AC Fall League. The 5’8″ stick of dynamite pushed the ball with distribution and scoring throughout his two games. The Cross Lanes Christian product is a bulldog defensively and will likely have a big school season.
