Their talent level is strong and they have an experienced senior class plus one of the best guards in the state in sophomore [player_tooltip player_id='1560882' first='Cedric' last='Tomes']. Their challenge is to get by the section title game which has been a struggle. They've been to state once but they've been the section runner-up more than they care to be reminded of. This year the biggest challenge should come from Tartan and Cretin Derham Hall. Tartan has all of their key pieces back plus young players coming up and a key transfer that should help. CDH has a number of quick guards including one of the best lead guards in the sophomore class in [player_tooltip player_id='1560868' first='Joseph' last='Mitchell III'] plus [player_tooltip player_id='1574220' first='Monteff' last='Dixon Jr'] is about to have a huge year. Central, White Bear Lake and Stillwater all have a good piece back but will have to deal with a number of senior starters graduating.
