Expert Analysis
Max Wagner | Prep Hoops Scout
Cedric was in some foul trouble in the first half, but came alive in the second as Tartan pulled away to beat East Ridge. He did a great job of getting downhill, establishing two feet in the paint, and from there locating his cutting teammates with accurate passes. Banks is the type of point guard you can just give the ball to at times and let him make plays on his own. His elite quickness allows him to get to just about anywhere he wants to on the floor, and from there he has the ability to score on his own or facilitate.

Cedric was in attack mode from the opening tip on Monday night. Roseville just didn’t have a player who could stay in front of him, and his electrifying quickness and shifty handles allowed him to pick his spots on the floor and get to them. Mixed in some pull-up jumpers from mid-range with a handful of crafty finishes at the rim on his way to a 30 point performance. A pair of starters went down with an injury in this game, so Cedric took on a big scoring load and didn’t disappoint in the win.
