Saturday and Sunday September 2-3, PH NorCal was at Tice Valley Recreational Community Center in Walnut Creek CA, for the first Pro-West Exposure Camp. More than 130 prospects from NorCal attended. It was an opportunity to see some of NorCals top prospects in action before the high school season begins, new prospects we hadn't seen before, and a glimpse of the class of 2027 as we take a deeper look at the incoming Freshman class.

[player_tooltip player_id='1384447' first='Jasir' last='Rencher'] 6'6 2025 Archbishop Riordan: NorCals top prospect in the 2025 class is versatile and athletic. He's a well rounded productive player when he steps on the court. He may or may not stuff the stat sheet with points, nevertheless he's as effective as any player on the court when it comes to productivity across the board in different areas of the game.

[player_tooltip player_id='2059710' first='Emmanuel' last='Jamgbadi'] 6'8 2026 Prolific Prep: He was one of the top bigs at the camp. While his offensive production is still in development. His presence in the paint, ability to go after blocks, rebound, defend, and run the court were noticeable.

[player_tooltip player_id='1776801' first='Elijah' last='Perryman'] 6'1 2025 Clayton Valley Charter: He excelled as a passing guard in the top 20 game, surrounded by scorers, shooters, and cutters. He showed he's more than capable of handling point guard duties. He creates, takes on defenders using his quickness off the dribble. He has the vision to locate point producers, in the post, on the perimeter and in transition.

[player_tooltip player_id='1384425' first='Jalen' last='Stokes'] 6'5 2025 Dublin: There's no questioning the energy Stokes brings to the court on both sides of the ball. He aggressively looks to put points on the board in different ways, using his dribble, pull-up jumpers, and transition buckets. He defends with effort and intensity. He rebounds, and runs the court. If there was a top 20 game MVP, he deserved a few votes.

[player_tooltip player_id='1703078' first='Caeden' last='Hutcherson'] 6'4 2026 Archbishop Mitty: He's a productive guard who can put points on the board in different ways. He makes shots from behind the 3pt line, he's good on the catch and shoot, and spotting up along the perimeter in transition. He creates opportunities for himself and others off the dribble. He has a wide stance and lengthy arms to defend.

[player_tooltip player_id='1702960' first='Max' last='VanLaningham'] 6'9 2026 Woodcreek: He continues to show upside with his activity in and around the post area on both sides, and running the court, while he continues to expand, and develop his skill set away from the basket. He used his dribble on occasion, he showed range stepping out, and spotting to shoots 3's. He rebounds, defends, and goes after blocks. He's a double, double.

[player_tooltip player_id='1140161' first='Alvin' last='Loving'] 6'4 2025 Salesian Prep: He had consistent play (3 games) throughout the camp. Standing 6'4 in this camp setting, he showed good ball handling, which led to him handling, and passing up top, settling the offense on occasion. He had good drives into the paint, using body, and balance to attack defenders, he had good kick out passes, and scored in traffic. He spots up well behind the 3 line. He rebounds

[player_tooltip player_id='1540017' first='Leo' last='Ricketts'] 5'10 2024 De La Salle: He was out the last part of the summer with a bad wrist. He was a bit rusty but he stills brings high energy to the court, hitting the floor first for loose balls, tenacious on ball defending. He's been working on tightening his ball handling for the point guard position, and putting up 3's to be more efficient on the open catch and shoot.

[player_tooltip player_id='1253220' first='James' last='Moore'] 6'1 2024 Clayton Valley Charter: He's gained some experience now and seems to be much more aware of what he's capable of doing on the court. At 6'1 he has legitimate hops with explosion to hit paint jumpers, challenge and finish around the rim including dunks. He's improved his handles, found a burst on the first step to get by defenders.

[player_tooltip player_id='1253224' first='Cortevious' last='Taylor'] 6'6 2024 Granada: He had a couple of good days shooting the basketball. He has the handles to create opportunities for himself, using one and two dribbles, squaring up, using his body to create space and hit open shots from mid-range out to the 3pt line. He shows a toughness when he goes down into the paint working for points and rebounds.
