Team 1 Standouts

[player_tooltip player_id='1401824' first='Tyler' last='Smith'] (Wheaton Academy – 2025)

Talk about a breakout performance! This 6'2” shooting guard put on a show! He opened up the contest we saw by impacting defensively with steals and blocks then racing down the court going coast to coast for layups. Good athlete that plays well in an up and down setting while being able to maneuver his body around the rim for scores. Multiple rim runs for points, sweeping layups using long strides, and hit a crisp three off movement. One to watch this year for sure!

[player_tooltip player_id='1295592' first='Hudson' last='Parker'] (Wheaton North – 2024)

The high IQ guard has been on our radar for a while. Good passer that is a solid drive and kick distributor. As a scorer he hit a couple threes while using his athleticism around the rim for several nifty finishes on reverses and euro steps. Ideal small college PG.

Team 2 Standouts

[player_tooltip player_id='1245258' first='Levi' last='Goad'] (Prairie Central – 2024)

Goad is a physically built 6'2” lead guard that can really pass it. Great feel and flair throwing dimes. Best might have been a wrap around pick/roll for adish layup. Physicality attacking downhill finishing with strength at the cup along with being able to stop and pop from 12-15 feet.

[player_tooltip player_id='2218169' first='James' last='Johnson'] (Washington – 2026)

First look at Johnson who is a prospect we hadn't seen on the circuit over the summer. The 6'4” wing showed some intriguing tool with his strength and playing bully ball around the rim on finishes through defenders. Just had a nose for being around the rock to make the right play at the right time.

[player_tooltip player_id='1874727' first='Erik' last='Ramirez'] (Taft – 2025)

The Taft junior guard is an active defender that got after it on that end while doing the majority of his offensive damage in transition finishing on passes from others or slashing with a couple power dribbles.

[player_tooltip player_id='1598731' first='John' last='Fuery'] (Prairie Grove – 2024)

The 6'3” senior wing has good positional size and length to go with a thin frame. He can really shoot the ball especially being effective from the corners. Showcased a clean stroke off the catch.
