The 20th annual installment of the event brought together around 200 prospects form 13 different states and featured two of California’s best sophomores. Below we break down some of the top performers from the 2026 class.
Justice Griffith Justice Griffith 6'0" | CG St. Monica | 2026 State CA-S , 2026, Corona Centennial
Griffith has established himself as one of the best perimeter defenders in SoCal’s 2026 class. His combination of strength, speed, quickness and defensive fundamentals are paramount in his ability to guard but what separates him is his desire to shut down his assignment and the effort he gives in doing so. Offensively, Griffith is a physical slasher and finisher who can also knock down mid-range jumpers.
McKae Amundsen, 2026, Clovis North
The younger Amundsen brother is poised to make a name for himself this season just as his older brother did over the last two years. The 5-foot-7 point guard brings relentless energy to the floor and his willingness to compete each and every possession stood out in a camp like this. Amundsen is wired to score and can do so from three-levels of the floor with his perimeter jump shot being one of his main weapons. Amundsen isn’t just a shooter, however, as he has the IQ and vision to create for those around him.
Treston Davis Treston Davis 5'11" | SG Inderkum | 2026 State CA-N , 2026, Inderkum
Davis is a 5-foot-11 point guard with really good feel for the game and command of the position. What stood out most about his efforts Saturday was the pace he played with and how he stayed under control and made good decisions for the majority of his minutes. Davis isn’t just a game managing style lead guard, though, as his mid-range and three-point jump shots were dialed in.
Rodney Westmoreland Rodney Westmoreland 6'1" | PG Santa Margarita | 2026 State CA-S , 2026, Dougherty Valley
Westmoreland fits into more of the “true” point guard mold because he’s such an unselfish prospect in both transition and half-court settings. The 6-foot-1 sophomore pushes the ball in transition with his eyes up the floor and is a willing passer when advancing it up the court. Westmoreland can also get downhill and into the lane where he can finish at the rim, with a floater or jump stop and find an open shooter. Westmoreland showed a competitive fire on the defensive end, as well.
Ikenna Alozie, 2026, Dream City Christian (AZ)
Alozie was one of the more physically and athletically-gifted prospects in the gym Saturday. At 6-feet-3 with an explosive pop of vertical athleticism, his game was made for this type of event because of the up-and-down, transition style of play. Alozie can finish through contact with his strong frame but also can elevate and score over the top of rim protectors.
