This kid is somewhat off the radar and is set to really imprve and make the best of the minutes he will get on a loaded team. He has a solid midrange game and his slashing ability is really impressive. He does have some size at around 6’5 and he jumps out of the gym which not only lets him finish above the rim but he also makes things happen on th boards with that leaping ability and work on the glass. He might not be a house hold name because he doesn’t play on a traditional high school but the kid can hoop.
Highlights
Beh is starting to really turn that freshman corner in his development as he is starting to gain some muscle and that IQ is showing in different aspects of his game. He will be a solid guard that once again goes through at Murray. He has some sisters that have had the opportunity to play some high level sports and it seems like this kid is going to make that jump as well the way that he is developing. He could have a big time jump his sophomore year.
Makai is slowling building some developmental steam as he does have some given talent on the floor that make him standout right away. He is one of the springiest kids in the state at his height beign able to throw some down with is CRAZY! he shoots the ball well enough that you have to defend him out in the perimeter and he is smooth with the ball in his hands making hsi way to the rim and attacking. He is just scratching the surface to where he will be in a few years.
If you are looking for an off the radar guard that might make an impact this year it might just be Ian. He has a quick first stepp and he knows how to create for himself and others. West Jordan has some good young guards that could make an impact if they play the right way.
Good shooting foundation that Mason has and he is starting to really develop that handle. He is a player that has a big time hoops background and this year he might be able to get loose and really make a bigger impact with his role on the team, so look for his shooting percentage to go up and his assist as well as he will have a few weapons he could feed the ball too and he will also benifit at the same time from them as he might get some open looks.
