A flat out winner from the point guard position, Roeth is the type of guy who does so many things to impact the game. Defensively, Roeth takes charges, jumps passing lanes and communicates with his teammates. On the offensive end, Roeth knocks down open shots, makes quick decisions with the ball in his hands and is efficient from the floor. The duo of Roeth and Wes Enis Wes Enis 6’2″ | SG Miami East | 2024 OH is one of the best in Division III and they’ll look to push Miami East to another district title and potentially a final four spot in Dayton for their last run together.
Highlights
After taking a college visit last weekend, Moore was back in action this Saturday and continued his usual dominance in the paint. Just too big, skilled and aggressive for most of the competition in the paint, when Moore caught the ball on the block it was turning into two points. That continued aggressiveness with his back to the basket is going to be key as a senior for Moore, just imposing his will against undersized high school forwards. Moore showed patience in the post and took his time getting to his moves that he’s clearly been working on. One of the top bigs in Ohio’s 2024 class, Moore is seeing a lot of interest from low major and top Division II programs.
Nick Culver
Nick Culver
In fall league open run style of play, it’s easy to get caught up in who is scoring the most points, but we also want to show love to some guys who do the dirty work for their team. Culver is one of those guys who crashed the glass and rebounded really well on Saturday morning. Offensively, Culver set strong screens that allowed him to score on the roll or free up the ball handler for a drive. Culver then slipped a screen for an easy finish as well. Finally, Culver made a couple impressive touch passes after reading the help-side defense. A high motor player, I liked what I saw from Culver on Saturday morning.
Ashton Singh
Ashton Singh
Another high motor forward, Singh plays really hard every time I watch him. The lefty forward goes all out for every rebound and loose ball and gets a lot of second chance opportunities with his size and hustle. Not the most talented prospect but a guy who will go all out for his team, I think Singh will help Olentangy Berlin in spots as a senior with his rebounding ability.
Zach Bartemes
Zach Bartemes
Bartemes hit a ton of shots in his final game of the day, catching fire from 3-point range. Moving well without the ball to make himself available, Bartemes shot the 3-pointer with confidence and his teammates did a great job setting him up with shots that he could make. Dublin Coffman is always one of the top shooting teams in central Ohio and Bartemes has the talent to light it up from 3-point range a couple times as a senior.
