Ohio Freshman Showcase: Team 4 Standouts

He was able to get to the basket whenever he wanted and consistently put pressure on the defense with his ability to attack downhill. Once he got to the rim, he showed off his athleticism with several acrobatic finishes. His length also stood out on the defensive end, where he did a great job getting into passing lanes and coming away with multiple steals. He has a quick release and plays with a high level of confidence when shooting the ball. He also found success attacking downhill, converting multiple difficult finishes around the rim and earning a couple of and-ones. Brodie flashed his playmaking ability as well, making several good passes to his bigs for scoring opportunities. Once he got into a rhythm, he was extremely difficult to stop. He did a great job creating space for himself and consistently getting to his spots on the floor. Logan made the defense pay whenever they failed to get a hand in his face, showcasing his ability to knock down shots from deep. When defenders overplayed him, he showed good feel by finding open teammates or attacking the rim. He is a strong perimeter defender who consistently made an impact by being one of the first players to every 50/50 ball. He showed great anticipation when reading the offense, jumping into passing lanes and coming away with multiple steals. Payson was also a threat from behind the arc, knocking down shots whenever defenders left him open. He plays bigger than his size and showed that consistently throughout the showcase. He consistently did the little things that you look for from impactful players. Isaac repeatedly found open teammates in transition and within half-court sets, showing excellent court vision and feel for the game. He was also willing to make difficult passes that many players would not even see, threading the ball into tight windows to create opportunities for his teammates. On top of his playmaking, Isaac was a major threat from three, knocking down multiple triples. His combination of vision, unselfishness, and shooting ability makes him a player to keep an eye on moving forward.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
