This top Wisconsin basketball prospect had a huge summer and made his presence felt all summer long. He is now turning heads with a couple of offers under his belt and gaining interest from D1 schools around the Midwest.
I have Andrew as my personal top player in the class of 2026 for Wisconsin. I believe Prep Hoops has him at #5 while others might have him a #2, if one is keeping track of those things. Either way, what this player is, how he is improving each and every time you see him, and the way he puts in the work, all will tell you that doors should be opening for him soon if they haven’t already.
I was able to watch him several times over the spring and summer season. I see a prospect that runs the floor and moves exceptionally well for his size and his age. His game starts on the defensive end where he does well at shot blocking and protecting the rim. On the other end of the floor, he possesses solid interior foot work and an emerging outside 3-point shot. His jumper looks fluid enough for a big and I suspect that as he continues to add strength his athleticism will pop.
AAU club, this past summer season, was All Wisconsin, which is based out of the Fox River Valley, and has done a nice job with developing their players.
What the player things his strengths are: shot blocking and athleticism
What the player is working on the most to show improvement: outside jumper and aggressiveness
What the scout says: All of the points of this prospects game will come in time. He works hard at his craft, and it is easy to see improvement each time out. He can have a mean streak which is a good sign, but where he could improve the most is what I call physical in space. For example, box out away from the hoop and then explode to get the board. Post up with a lower frame then explode up toward the hoop for the dunk. Just don’t use your height to go for a rebound or to shoot over someone.
He attended two high profile national camps this summer where he got exposure to some of the country’s top talent. The prestigious Crossroads Elite Invitational in Indiana held in June. Then the CP3 (Chris Paul) camp in North Carolina, which came at the end of summer. He made the top All-Star game honors at both of these events.
He also attended the University of Wisconsin Top Prospect Camp that brings the top prospects in the state together. Then had a great showing at the UW-Milwaukee camp where he was offered on the spot.
Offer & Interest: Bryant & UW Milwaukee have offered, while Marquette seems the most interested at this point. A couple of D1 Illinois schools have hovered around and then I would suspect that the Badgers have this one on their board tracking his progress. There is a rumor that Nebraska was trying to get into watch an open gym.
His freshman year he came off the bench for a solid Kaukauna H.S. and played solid minutes behind junior Jon O’Neil. But moving into his sophomore year and coming off the huge confidence build of this summer, the camps, and the offers look for him to start along O’Neil at a stretch four role. He is certainly poised for big things as he progresses through his high school career.
