Today, we will be starting with our top five shooting guards in the Class of 2024. Our latest rankings for the senior class have been updated on our website.
The 6-4 senior guard is the son of 14-year NBA veteran Jason Richardson is one of the Top 100 ranked players nationally for the class. Richardson can score on all three levels on the offensive end, as well as guard on and off the ball at a high level on the defensive end. Richardson plays with a lot of poise and can control the game at his own pace with his high IQ. Richardson brings a ton of athletic versatility where he can guard out on the perimeter as well as on the interior at a high level.
Chris Arias, A 6-6 senior shooting guard and Jacksonville University commit has a great combo skillset of scoring and creating for his teammates on the offensive end. Arias is not your typical guard as he has great size, length and athleticism where he can finish efficiently around the rim. He also brings a lot of productivity on the defensive end guarding on the interior where he can use his length to contest tough shots as well as rebound well. He also continued to improve his footwork on the defensive end where he can stay in front of small and quicker guards.
Highlights
The 6-6 senior shooting guard is an all-around good athlete and plays a very versatile role on both ends of the floor. Celiscar is an above-average rebounder for his size and is quick to get the basketball up the floor making the right plays. Celiscar also plays very unselfish on the offensive end and is a very good passer and has great court vision to match. He also has continued to improve his outside shooting game where he shot 35 percent from beyond the arc as a junior last season.
