Headlined by top California and national prospects Tyran Stokes Tyran Stokes 6'7" | SF Prolific Prep | 2026 State CA-N and Brandon McCoy Brandon McCoy 6'4" | CG St. John Bosco | 2026 State CA-S Jr., the event provided a great stage for kids to compete and establish themselves as names to keep an eye on.
Tyran dominated everyone in front of him the entire weekend. Stokes has a lethal combination of size, strength, and quickness that makes him incredibly difficult to guard on the offensive end in half-court settings, and nearly impossible to stop in transition. All of those gifts also allow him to be a major factor on the defensive end also as he is able to switch effectively on to multiple positions, effect shots at the rim, and end defensive possessions with authoritative rebounds.
Brandon took over for large stretches of the camp games this weekend. McCoy Jr.’s quick first step, strength to stay in front of defenders, and athleticism to finish above the rim allow him to get into the paint at will against almost anyone and he took advantage with a bevy of powerful dunks. He is also able to effectively shoot the three, forcing defenders to try and close down the space that he has.
Ikenna Alozie Ikenna Alozie 6’3″ | CG Dream City Christian | 2026 State AZ was terrific this weekend and his athleticism and quickness really shone in the more open showcase enivronment. Ikenna has a very quick first step, and fearlessly attacks the basket whenever he has the chance. His athleticism and quickness also make him a really impactful defender as he gets into passing lanes and very often is able to contest and alter shots.
Brayden shot the ball tremendously well this weekend and showed off his playmaking abilities in transition as well. Kyman also moved very effectively without the ball and is able to provide any offense he plays on with good spacing.
Justice, as he typically does, exhibited his tenacious and “pitbull” like mentality on defense. In a camp setting where this is rare, Griffith’s competitiveness, strength, and commitment to stopping his man really stands out.
Drew Anderson
Drew Anderson
Drew continued to shoot the ball well from 3 and is a very effective catch and shoot threat. Anderson’s length also allows him to be an effective defender, and to help out on the glass at both ends.
Julius looked like he was in cruise control during camp games this weekend as he played with great composure, body control, and vision. Price constantly is able to get into the paint and uses that valuable position to create layup opportunities for himself and teammates, as well as utilize his patience to draw fouls on overeager defenders. His ability to shoot the 3 off the catch and dribble makes him an even bigger nightmare for defenders who think they’re just going to give him a little bit of space.
Elias makes great team plays and contributes all around the court and seems to have a knack for being right where a 50/50 ball bounces. Obenyah is a do-it-all type of guard who defends competitively, rebounds at both ends, and can create for himself.
