We started with the rising Sophomore class of 2026 and now have just updated the rising Juniors in 2025 (click here to view the full 126 player list) before wrapping up our post-grassroots updates with the 2024 class. In this article we’ll break down the top 7 prospects and take a look ahead at what you should expect in the future in regard to details about this class.
At the top spot, Nikola Bundalo Nikola Bundalo 6'9" | PF Western Reserve Academy | 2025 State #22 Nation OH takes number one after Darryn Peterson transferred to Huntington Prep. Bundalo is also on the move but he’s staying in state, going from Uniontown Green to Western Reserve Academy. Dorian Jones Dorian Jones 6'4" | SG Richmond Heights | 2025 State #61 Nation OH stays at number two as Richmond Heights looks for a third straight state title. Damon Friery Damon Friery 6'9" | PF Saint Ignatius | 2025 State #97 Nation OH moves one spot up as a result of Peterson’s transfer and has recently picked up two high major offers in Georgia and Arizona State. Antione West Jr Antione West Jr 6'3" | SG Toledo Whitmer | 2025 State #132 Nation OH is the most notable riser, going from seven to four. Seeing his recruitment spike in the recent months, West is coming off impressive performances on both the grassroots and high school level this summer. Abdou Yadd Abdou Yadd 6'8" | C Spire | 2025 State #151 Nation OH and Rj Greer Rj Greer 6'4" | SG Kettering Alter | 2025 State #167 Nation OH swap places at five and six respectively and Kingston Land Kingston Land 6'9" | PF Moeller | 2025 State #209 Nation OH makes a jump back into the top 7 as his production is starting to match the intriguing tools and upside he’s been flashing for a couple years now.
Stay tuned for details on stock risers and new names as this 2025 class is STACKED from top to bottom. I’ve been covering Ohio basketball for Prep Hoops since 2020 and firmly believe this 2025 class has the most talent from top to bottom that I’ve seen in my short time covering the state.
