Prep Hoops Iowa Freshman Showcase: Team 3 Evaluations

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><em>The first ever Prep Hoops Iowa Freshman Showcase took place in Des Moines on Sunday afternoon, with 64 players from the Class of 2027 competing. Throughout the next few days, myself and Jeremy Brooks will be running through some of the standout performers from the event, and providing full evaluations of all 64 players who were in attendance. He's a good shooter off the catch who also showed the ability to attack hard closeouts and get to the rim for finishes. He makes up for his lack of size by being a creative finisher, knowing how to put the right spin on the ball to finish against bigger players. He's a quick guard with good length and quick hands that he uses to pick opposing ball handlers or jump passing lanes and turn defense into offense. He finishes well around the bucket and has great body control. He has a smooth, repeatable release, and he gets the ball into his shooting pocket quickly, both off the dribble and the catch. He didn't get a ton of opportunities on the offensive end, but he does a good job keeping the ball high when he pulls down an offensive rebound and going straight back up with it. He does a great job getting into passing lanes and turning defense into offense, and he gets a hand up to contest shots.
