August is here, meaning the new school year is around a month away. The Mid Atlantic Summer Showcase was on Monday and players had strong showings throughout the night. Here are the standouts from the Mid Atlantic Summer Showcase.

[player_tooltip player_id='1776778' first='Vova' last='Trotsko'], 6'7 PF Colts Neck 2024

Trotsko had a big performance on the night as he showed his ability to impact the game at both ends of the floor. The 6'7 forward shot the ball with confidence from behind the arc and has a good release on his jumper. Trotsko used his strong frame to get position down low and finished well during the drill sessions. He skied for rebounds on both ends of the floor and held his ground on the defensive end. Trotsko's ability to control the boards and stretch the floor is something that will help rise his stock over the next couple of weeks.

Aiden Tobiason, 6'5 W St. Elizabeth 2024

Tobiason had a standout performance as he flashed throughout the night. The 6'5 wing attacked the basket strong and finished in a number of ways around the rim. Tobiason wasted little motion in his jumper and knocked down shots off the bounce and catch. He pushed the ball well in transition and slid his feet well on defense. Tobiason is a lanky wing prospect whose stock should only go up from here after his play on Monday night.

[player_tooltip player_id='1989438' first='Stesher' last='Mathelier'], 6'8 PF Phelps 2024

Mathelier was the tallest player at the event and he was tough matchup down low for his opponents. The 6'8 forward used his size and strength to get position down low and finished nicely in the paint. Mathelier dunked the ball with authority in the drills and in the game and set good screens in the half court. He was tough to box out on both ends of the floor and influenced shots around the basket. Mathelier is a physical forward prospect whose ability to finish around the basket is something that will help his stock in a big way this winter.

[player_tooltip player_id='2107698' first='Myles' last='Primas'], 6'5 W Lenape 2024

Primas made an impact at both ends of the floor during the night as he flashed his athleticism. The 6'5 wing threw down a big-time dunk in the halfcourt and elevated nicely during the drills. Primas moved well without the ball in his hands and didn't force shots in the halfcourt. He worked hard for rebounds and showed the ability to defend multiple positions on the floor. Primas is a long, two-way wing prospect whose game should only improve over the next couple of months.

[player_tooltip player_id='1176360' first='Muhsin' last='Muhammad'], 6'4 SG Friends Central 2024

Muhammad played aggressive all night long as he was consistently getting into the paint. The 6'4 guard used his quick first step to blow by his defender and was finishing strong above the rim. Muhammad showed the ability to run the offense in a pinch as he made good passes in the halfcourt. He moved well without the ball in his hands and got deflections on defense. Muhammad's ability to get to the rim and make plays in the lane is something that will help his development this winter.

Other Players to Know:

[player_tooltip player_id='1472517' first='Alex' last='Grospe'], 5'10 PG South River 2025
