Basketball players certainly know how important their feet are. So on National I Love My Feet Day, we’re going to look at some players that have excellent footwork on the basketball court.
Brock has elite feet in the state of Michigan. Calling his feet bouncy just doesn’t seem to do them justice. He can flat out get up and off the ground in a hurry. Brock is fast to which makes him a big time threat to finish above the rim in transition. It’s safe to say that his feet are gamechangers.
Maybe it’s a thing that both of the first 2 players mentioned are very high level multi sport stars. I think Struck’s feet are underestimated. He’s smooth enough and quick enough that his feet and footwork allow him to effectively play 3-4 different positions. Watch close and you’ll notice that his cuts are extremely sharp as well.

Karel has had a huge summer and has raised his stock on a national scale. You can point to a lot of reasons for this happening, but I feel like you have to mention his superior feet and footwork. Karel has a quicker first step than almost any power forward we’ll watch this season. I think his feet are quick enough that he could easily be a combo forward at the next level.

Stone is a great example of how good feet can contribute to a great player. Stone can slide into a change of direction with ease and will consistently tangle up his defenders. I’ve seen him drop defenders in the open floor by switching his path. Stone is underrated when it comes to his straight line speed and first step.
If you haven’t heard this name, you’re going o want to remember it. I’ve seen this young man play a lot, and I love his defensive footwork. It’s very rare that he’s caught out of position and that helps him a ton with his help defense. Cotuna always seems to be able to slide in or over and challenge a shot at the rim.
