#1 ALTA
Alta is at the top because they bring back some strong prospects from their State Championship team and they will be lead by two really good players in Ace Reiser Ace Reiser 6'0" | PG Alta | 2024 State UT and Jaxon Johnson Jaxon Johnson 6'8" | SF Alta | 2024 State #106 Nation UT , both players are really good at their position and they will be tough to stop. They did have some subpar performances against some of the teams listed below but that was summer and spring ball. Look for Alta to be focused and ready to defend their title. A big part of their team that got better was big man Carter Doleac Carter Doleac 6'8" | PF Alta | 2024 State UT who is more skilled and is just moving better overall. Dash Reiser Dash Reiser 5'9" | CG Alta | 2026 State UT and Zack Paepke Zack Paepke 6'1" | SF Alta | 2026 State UT will be good for them as well. Bo Compton Bo Compton 6'0" | CG Alta | 2024 State UT is a solid piece that will add depth to the team.
#2 OLYMPUS
Olympus might be better than they were last year as their role players will be more skilled and they will also be more experienced. Jordan Barnes Jordan Barnes 6'4" | PG Olympus | 2024 State UT and Dutch Dowdell Dutch Dowdell 6'6" | SG Olympus | 2024 State #310 Nation UT make a killer duo and might be one of the best tandems in the back-court. Gavin Lowe Gavin Lowe 5'10" | PG Olympus | 2026 State UT is tough too. This team is hard to not like, look for them to make adjustments all year long and just come out loose and light up the scoreboard.
#3 OREM
Orem is dangerous as they have young talent that is hungry and they have a vet player moving into the boundaries in Jax Allen Jax Allen 6'4" | CG Orem | 2025 State #391 Nation UT who is 6’4 and can play 1-3. This team might actually start 3 guards that can go with Anthony Felesi Anthony Felesi 6'6" | CG Utah Prep | 2026 State UT , Chance Datrup and then you add Kai Wesley Kai Wesley 6'8" | PF Orem | 2026 State UT who has been getting better and bigger. Trey Hiatt Trey Hiatt 6'6" | PF Orem | 2025 State UT will be solid playing the SF position as well.
#4 TIMPVIEW
Timpview is young but they will be playing with a lot of confidence as Dean Rueckert Dean Rueckert 6'7" | SF Timpview | 2026 State UT brings a lot of that confidence and high level of play. They have young players that everyone will get to know soon but keep an eye on Mason Ford Mason Ford 6'1" | PG Timpview | 2026 State UT .
#5 HIGHLAND
This team is extremely dangerous as they have a little bit of everything and if that ball moves they will be able to get everyone touches and they will be hard to game plan for. George McConkie George McConkie 6'8" | C Highland | 2024 State UT and Soren Reis have size to do damage and Isaiah Drisdom Isaiah Drisdom 6'0" | PG Highland | 2026 State UT has more than enough skill to handle the ball and score at a high level. This team will be fun to watch.
#6 SPRINGVILLE
Springville has an inside outside game that will make teams have fits. Jamyn Sondrup Jamyn Sondrup 6'10" | C Springville | 2026 State UT is a load in the middle and if he gets two more inches and gets to 7’0 there will be a big shift because he is already getting his way in the paint. Luke Nadauld Luke Nadauld 6'2" | PG Springville | 2024 State UT had a great showing this summer and Mason Hansen Mason Hansen 6'1" | SG Springville | 2026 State UT is a shooter you need to account for.
#7 SKYLINE
Skyline will be anchored by Landon Shaw Landon Shaw 6'6" | PF Skyline | 2024 State UT the big 6’7 PF will be a load and he might just be a double-double machine. Itay Lustgarten Itay Lustgarten 6'1" | CG Skyline | 2026 State UT could be a key contributor and is a rising Class of 2026 prospect. They will need to pick up the slack by committee but they have a shot to be good.
#8 BOUNTIFUL
This team could easily be closer to the top as they are led by Charlie Smith Charlie Smith 6'5" | SG Bountiful | 2025 State UT the sharp shooting wing that has exceptional size. He could be a big time shot maker that boost Bountiful upward. Carson Smith Carson Smith 6'6" | CG Bountiful | 2024 State UT has also been playing very well, he is starting to pop at the right time.
#9 CEDAR VALLEY

Heath Christiansen Heath Christiansen 6'2" | CG Cedar Valley | 2024 State UT is a player that could really step things up as he is somewhat off the radar.
#10 WOODS CROSS
Woods Cross will be tough as they are well coached and Hunter Jackson Hunter Jackson 6'3" | PG Woods Cross | 2025 State UT might just have some big time games. I don’t think anyone would be surprised if e scores 17+ and 5 assist minimum. 5A is wide open in the sense that some of these lower ranked teams could beat anyone and WX is one of them.
