To prepare for the season in the coming months, I will be dropping some City Rankings and ranking players in the area their school resides in. Here is more of Whatcom County.
Gannon is going to be one of the primary ball handlers for the Lyncs next season now that the class of 2023 have graduated. He displayed the ability to pass the ball well and facilitate the offense smoothly during the summer season. I think Gannon is going to have a breakout junior year.
Caden is crafty with the ball and can handle the ball well. He is going to be the main ball handler next season so it will be interesting to see how he handles the more pressure. He can knock down outside shots and mid-range shots at a high level. He finds his open teammates when they get open and is excellent in the pick and roll game.
Highlights
Brant is a big framed played who excels down in the paint. When he gets the ball, he is patient and gets his feet set when working down low against defenders. Not many people can match up with his size so he is often a match-up nightmare. He is able to step outside and hit the 3 when left open too.
Brady is one of the strongest players in the entire county. He is dominant off the glass, grabbing rebounds with ease against most teams. He can out-body most of the opposing players and finishes his shot attempts down low with a high percentage.
Dawson is a player who will have a breakout season for the Lyncs. He will be a main option on the offensive side of the ball and I personally think he will have a very productive season with the ball in his hands. He’s a hard worker on the defensive side of the ball too, as he can stay with ball handlers and hold his own against some of the top players in the county.
