There’s plenty of reasons to want to see McLavish at the Top 250. Let’s start with the obvious. The young man is simply one of the best and one of the most electric shooters in the state. Clarkston seems to have a nice bunch of guards roaming the hallways again these days. Schoenefeld is definitely one to add to the list. He had a very effective grassroots season that saw him improve greatly from start to finish. Schoenefeld simply looked a lot more confident in his game. He has the potential to a very well rounded star by the time it’s all said and done.

Stockwell started to really turn some heads this summer. He showed some very real and very nice potential as a player and a prospect. In fact, he was included in a rankings update article about post players with upside. Don’t get me wrong, the kid can play right now and he’s going to be a menace in the paint this winter.

Tropea flourished as a scoring AND distributing lead guard.
Day had a stellar grassroots campaign and the Top 250 will be the perfect place for him to continue that run of great play. College coaches will be very happy to see what we saw on the grassroots scene all spring and summer. Day proved that he can be relied on as a versatile and high level scorer.
