LAS VEGAS — There were multiple good club basketball events held throughout the Las Vegas area during the last true live viewing period of the summer. We were able to spend a good amount of time at each of them and in this piece we take a closer look at the best wings we saw in the Las Vegas Big Time event.

[player_tooltip player_id='1301713' first='Jamier' last='Jones'], 2025, Florida Rebels

If a high-major combination of size, strength, skill and explosive athleticism exists in a rising junior, those traits belong to Jones. The 6-foot-5 wing is a lane-filler and slasher and finisher in transition who can finish with authority above the rim or absorb and finish through contact in the painted area. In the half-court setting, Jones has the ball skills to create for himself off the dribble and showed some impressive passing instincts as well.

[player_tooltip player_id='1055791' first='Karter' last='Knox'], 2024, Florida Rebels

Knox is one of the smoother perimeter and mid-range scorers we have in the high school game. The rangy 6-foot-6 wing has fundamental and repeatable shooting mechanics with a strong base and great balance through his release. Knox can play off the shot-fake where he gets his defender to bite, allowing him to get into his one and two-dribble pull-up.

[player_tooltip player_id='1630616' first='Tounde' last='Yessoufou'], 2025, Team Why Not

Yessoufou is one of the most athletic and physical wing players in the country regardless of class and that, combined with his versatile skill-set, makes him a highly-recruited prospect in the 2025 class. Yessoufou's most intriguing trait at the next level will be his defensive versatility. At 6-feet-5 and a solid 215-plus pounds, Yessoufou can guard every position at the high school level and is a dominant presence on the defensive glass. Offensively, the rising junior can stretch the floor to the three-point line and break down defenders in isolation for downhill power finishes.

[player_tooltip player_id='1560903' first='Trent' last='Perry'], 2026, YBE

Perry was one of the best prospects we watched in the 16u Invite Division. The first thing that sticks out about Perry is his combination of length and athleticism. At 6-feet-4 with an impressive wingspan, Perry is a two-way impact guy who can defend multiple positions and thrives in transition settings where he can slash his way through the lane for highlight-reel dunks. Perry also has the ball skills to create off the dribble in half-court offense and has smooth shooting mechanics off the catch.

[player_tooltip player_id='1702934' first='Tyran' last='Stokes'], 2026, Vegas Elite

Stokes is one of the most gifted basketball prospects in the country. The 6-foot-7 rising sophomore is not only big, strong and physical, but he's an effortless athlete in the open court and a shifty and smooth creator off the bounce in half-court settings who can also stretch the floor to the three-point line with consistency.
