We will look at players who can do exactly that in not only creating for their teammates but for themselves. These players are talented in how they score the basketball in so many different ways. Here are my top shot creators for the 2026 class part II.
Nwigwe is a fun and exciting player to watch that has so much talent already. He is an athletic shooting guard that can rise over anyone and make any shot. He’s got an effective hesitation move he uses to get defenders to bite on the fake so he can blow past them. Nwigwe is automatic from the midrange especially when he’s looking to post up. When it comes to driving to the rim he is as good as they come as he can hang in the air and do some crafty stuff around the basket making defenders look clueless.
Hodge is a walking bucket every time he steps on the court. He plays the game at different speeds and can score in a multitude of ways. In the midrange, he simply just won’t miss many from there. Hodge will break you down with his handles and look to either draw you in the air with his pump fake or hit the step-back shot. His shot is smooth and quick which can lead to difficulty getting a contest. Hodge is a strong finisher around the rim using a euro-step move to get by a defender. He’s even a creator without the basketball always moving looking to get open.
Harris can be a complete two-way player the more experience he gets. As for scoring Harris has all the tools to succeed in that. His long 6’4″ size allows him to shoot and pull up over most defenders. He’s got a clean shot form with good range from the outside. Harris can hit some very difficult shots with multiple defenders guarding him. He’s quick off the dribble and will rise high for the finish. In the transition game, he takes long quick strides making it hard for defenders to keep up with him.
Lin is a quick and crafty point guard that looks to shoot the second he gets the open space. He won’t force anything and plays under control waiting for screens so he can hit the pull-up three. His shot is fast and does not need much room to get it off. Lin can finish over taller defenders around the rim putting a body on them and going up for the strong finish. He also does an excellent job at moving without the basketball.
Hart’s playstyle is all about pushing the pace and playing fast. He has such a lethal crossover that makes it nearly impossible for defenders to stay in front of him. Hart has a very impressive inside game with how he creates space in the air with his athleticism. He will get to the rim by any means and no one can stop him. When it comes to shooting Hart is great in that area with a smooth high release left-handed shot. He can shoot well beyond the three-point line and will look to use a screen to create more separation if needed. Overall Hart is turning into a complete player.
