I mainly focused my attention on 17U Gold Division and 15U Boys.

Here were some of the 2026-27 forwards that stood out:

[player_tooltip player_id='1839805' first='Aveon' last='Williams'] Casa Grande (Valley Vipers 17)

One of the strongest players in the class also happens to be a high level football player. He already holds offers from Oregon and ASU. He can work inside and score thru contact or dunk the ball. He can hit the three plus rebounds anything near him with his impressive physique.

[player_tooltip player_id='1679272' first='Jack' last='Raslavasky'] Basha (AZ Grassroots 15)

A long and tall post player is slowly coming along. He rebounds well with his long arms and reach and can score around the basket. He is filling in a little and handles the pounding better in the paint. He is catching the ball better than a year ago.

[player_tooltip player_id='1950101' first='Kai' last='Sharpe'] Mesa (AZ Grassroots 15) (Pictured)

A two-way wing forward runs the court well for transition buckets. He is a sneaky good passer and plays fast. He is a plus rebounder in his area with a good motor and is a tenacious on-ball defender.

[player_tooltip player_id='1950100' first='London' last='Haskell'] Mesa (AZ Grassroots 15)

An athletic power forward who is a natural defender inside the paint and in space. He can take the ball coast to coast with his left hand. Offensively he is an inside scorer with good patience versus bigger players.

[player_tooltip player_id='1430444' first='Jacob' last='Webber'] Scottsdale Christian Academy (AZ Select 15 UAA)

A good sized wing can catch and shoot from the three point line with the best of them. He is handling it more fluidly to get into the paint to score. One of the easier shooting motions in the class and range for days. He loves posting up and falling away with counter moves. His hit six triples in a close game getting the win.

[player_tooltip player_id='1875260' first='Noah' last='Tabak'] NVCA (Hoop Code 15)

A high motored post player who runs the floor and defends. He grabs rebounds in and out of his area with his length and effort. He has a sturdy frame and a strong base.

[player_tooltip player_id='1890173' first='Bear' last='Fisher'] Queen Creek (Zona Nation 15)

A skilled power forward made the transfer to the East Valley from the small school Snowflake. He will block shots in his area and moves well from end to end. He will leap up and grab a board and then score on put backs. He can face-up from elbow and in.

[player_tooltip player_id='1893708' first='Prince' last='Cash'] Carl Hayden (Zona Nation 15)

A good sized, long wing forward. He is a good passer and rebounder using his size. He can hit the three plus dribble drive to the the basket and score in the trenches. His length comes in handy in the passing lanes and runs well in transition.

[player_tooltip player_id='1873694' first='Tyrese' last='Holmes'] Brophy Prep (AZ Grassroots 15)

An incoming freshman does a little bit of everything. He defends multiple positions, handles the ball well, scores in the lane and can shoot jumpers. He is good off the catch, he will pull-up from mid-range and has a polished floater game.
