Roman Mathieu — SG — Central Florida Heat
Mathieu has some great promise as a prospect. The Central Florida Heat shooting guard is a gifted three-level scorer. On the offensive end of the court, Mathieu applies a lot of rim pressure and can also knock down outside jumpers. In a big win on Sunday, the SG made some flashy and impressive plays offensively. I really like Mathieu’s game and look forward to seeing him play at future tournaments.
Santino Avalos — SG — Central Florida Heat
Avalos did a little bit of everything for Central Florida Heat on Sunday. The shooting guard made threes, finished at the rim, and also played solid defense. On the offensive end of the court, Avalos has a quick release jumper and is never stagnant. I love how he is constantly moving and searching for his shot. Avalos boosted his stock significantly in a win on Sunday.
Jacob Harvanek — CG — M14 Hoops
Harvanek has been really solid this spring for a good M14 Hoops team. The combo guard played one of his best games on Sunday afternoon. In a close loss, Harvanek scored 20 points and nearly willed his team to a victory. As a slasher, Harvanek is strong and quick. He finishes well through contact and uses his speed to blow by opposing defenders. Keep an eye out for Harvanek in the future — he has a lot of talent.
Nikhil Lele — SG — Full Package
At the college level, top-tier shooters have become a hot commodity. Full Package has an elite three-point shooter in Lele. If he gets an inch of space, the shooting guard is going to get up a shot. On Sunday, Lele shot the lights out and made some really clutch shots down the stretch of a close game. Lele proved that he is capable of knocking down big-time shots when his team needs it.
Muhammed Lawal — SF — All In Athletics
Lawal brings physicality and toughness to the table that many of his peers can’t offer. In transition, the small forward doesn’t slow down. Even though he is a bigger player, Lawal is still speedy. He can attack closeouts well and is also a great finisher. With plenty of time left to grow as a prospect, Lawal is a name to watch moving forward.
Lucas Solomon — SG — Full Package
Solomon might not be the flashiest prospect on the court, but he certainly gets the job done. He makes shots, plays defense, rebounds, and passes. Solomon is the type of prospect to do anything that his coach asks him to do. The Full Package standout played an excellent game on Sunday. He tallied an efficient 15 points in a winning effort.
