Nearly 250 teams across three age groups from all over the Midwest and beyond descended on the north side of Indianapolis to compete for a championship. Ultimately, we crowded Indiana Game Elite, Ohio United-McClure, and Kyle Guy Elite Black as our Prep Hoops Circuit Grit Region champions in the 15u, 16u, and 17u brackets respectively. Now, it is time to start releasing our All-Tournament Teams beginning here with the 15u age division. Let’s dive on in.
First Team
This 6’6″ center burst onto the scene as a freshman at Tippecanoe Valley and was a big part, no pun intended, to OPS Kindschy’s success this summer on the Prep Hoops Circuit. Akase solidified himself as a first team honoree on Saturday evening with a 21-point, 19-rebound performance in a 56-50 win over Vikings United to help advance his team to the Final Four. His size and strength inside, paired with impressive mobility, make him so hard to stop at his young age. You’ll be hearing a lot of his name in the coming years.
This athletic guard is an aggressive offensive player that showed off his skills with the ball throughout the weekend at the Prep Hoops Circuit Grit Region Finals. Ultimately, Donaldson was a key part in Indiana Game Elite 2026 winning the 15u title as he finished second in scoring on the team for the weekend. He keeps getting better and better and will look to have a breakout sophomore season at Gary 21st Century.
Highlights
Carson Duke
Carson Duke
This prospect is no stranger to First Team All-Tournament Honors as he also was selected back in May at the Prep Hoops Circuit Grit Region Memorial Classic in Columbus. Duke is a 5’10” guard that can really shoot it from beyond the arc and showed some willingness to play through contact at the end of his drives. He is a tough, scrappy guard when he gets into the paint which allows him to keep defenses honest off of the dribble. His all-around scoring ability led All Heart 2026 into the 15u Final Four on Sunday.
Ahmad Lee
Ahmad Lee
Lee was a two-way menace for the Chicago Demons in their one point Final Four win over OPS Kindschy and then scored 21 points in the Prep Hoops Circuit Grit Region Finals 15u championship game as they came up just short against Indiana Game Elite. The lengthy 6’2″ guard was disruptive in the passing lanes throughout the weekend and then finished very well around the basket. He is a talented slasher and driver with the athleticism to get up and score it at the rim.
Tolbert Jr. would certainly receive the “best player on the best team” designation for this weekend. He is an athletic driver that can beat you in a straight line against a closeout with his quickness or show off his tight handle with some combination moves to get into the paint. His scoring ability off of the bounce really stood out as he led Indiana Game Elite 2026 in scoring on their way to winning the Prep Hoops Circuit Grit Region Finals 15u championship.
