New Commitments
Forsythe to Oklahoma
The state’s top prospect is off the board by becoming Porter Moser’s point guard of the future. Oklahoma State and new offer Villanova were firmly in the picture, but Forsythe has decided to stay home and is headed roughly 40 minutes southwest to Norman.

With a pair of state championships, an undefeated season and a Tournament of Champion title, Forsythe has one of the best resumes among recent Oklahoma high school products. It’s more than just high school accolades that have driven the nationwide recruitment of the Dale Pirate. For three straight summers, Forsythe has produced at all age levels for Team Griffin on Nike’s EYBL Circuit. He’s put up big scoring numbers, while also being a quality passer and competitive defender.
What’s really unlocked his game from an offensive standpoint over the last year has been his huge improvement on his perimeter shooting. Especially off the dribble, he’s become exceptionally comfortable pulling up in transition and taking advantage anytime teams don’t trap hard enough on ball screens. Which has helped open up more driving lanes and creation operations for his teammates. Local players tend to add an extra energy when playing in state for programs like Oklahoma, and the competitive Forsythe could be set up to be a key part of Porter Moser’s future in the Sooner state.

Grant to Harding
On the small college front, Moore “3 and D” wing Darian Grant Darian Grant 6'6" | SF Moore | 2024 State OK is off the board to Harding, a D2 program in Arkansas. Grant had a great junior year leading Moore to a State Tournament appearance. And was productive this spring and summer on the NXTPro circuit. Now with his college decision out of the way, Grant can prepare for the next level while attempting to lead Moore to their 3rd straight Class 6A State tournament.
New Offers and Potential Visits

The Norman Tiger closed out his spring and summer with an offer from South Carolina State. This goes along with a previous offer from Arkansas Pine-Bluff. Jacksonville State, UT Arlington, Abilene Christian, and Longwood are other Division One programs are keeping in touch with the defensive specialist.
The long armed wing forward is one the most versatile defenders in the state, a rare player who can cover quicker guards on the perimeter and battle with tall forwards on the block. While he’s gaining confidence as a finisher and driver, a consistent jumper would fully unlock his potential as a “3 and D” wing for D1 programs. But even as, he grades as a D1 prospect thanks to his combination of individual and team defense.
The OCS Big Man has also added to South Carolina State to his D1 offer list of Cal Poly and Liberty for D1 programs. Lipscomb, Niagara, Abilene Christian, UNC Greensboro and Central Arkansas have also been in contact with Gray. The Edmond resident has also picked up football over the last year, and Tulsa is competing for his services there. But on the basketball side, he has plans for potential visits to Cal Poly and UNC Greensboro this fall. Cal Poly has been very interested in Gray since a strong performance in Atlanta on the EYBL circuit. While UNC Greensboro has an Oklahoma product currently on their roster, Class of 2020 big man Jalen Breath from Booker T Washington.
Todd showed as a sophomore at Bethany that he can fill it up. While this spring and summer with the Tulsa Hawk’s 16U program, he’s still been good off the dribble as a scorer and has really shined as a set up man for his talented teammates. The progression of the 2025 point guard hasn’t gone unnoticed as he recently picked up an offer from the new staff at Southwest Christian, a NAIA program in Bethany.
An intriguing developmental big prospect, Shavers has great movement for his height. In a viewing earlier this week at Primetime’s Invitational he was all over the floor with good off the ball movement. From running hard in transition, to quality cuts and a general high activity level. It also looks his bounce is starting to come in. But long term he will need to develop into a more consistent finisher and physically mature to handle playing in the post at the next level. Yesterday, Shavers tweeted out an offer from Richland College, a JuCo in Dallas. The JuCo route makes a lot of sense for a raw but good upside prospect like the 405 forward.
UPDATE
DYLAN WARLICK
After an impressive spring of production, Warlick picked up double digits offer from programs all over America. Now comes the part of narrowing down his options and trekking across the country for visits. A visit to Loyola-Chicago, a frequent watcher of Warlick earlier this month in North Augusta, is first up next week. Trips out west are on tap in September with Wyoming and San Jose State planned. Costal Carolina and Penn are two new offers for the Edmond North Husky, while other top tier mid-major programs including Davidson, Wofford and many more have also been in the picture this spring and summer.
