There were some very impressive incoming freshmen that caught our eye at the event.

Will Powers (Westminster): The 6'1" guard is very skilled and also has a good feel for the game. He was impressive offensively as he could was able to score from all three levels. He has an excellent pull up jumper from the mid-range area and he was also draining open 3-pointers. He is a capable ball handler and playmaker who also dropped some nice dimes to open teammates for buckets.

********

Tyler Ray (MICDS): A 6'1" wing player who has good physical strength and a solid overall skill set to go with it. He has good fundamentals as he worked well with his teammates without trying to force things. He was very good on the drive where he scored tough buckets in the lane. He was also a solid rebounder. He was very poised with the ball in his hands with his ball handling and ability to hit the open jumper.

******

[player_tooltip player_id='2212592' first='Xavier' last='Morrison'] (Francis Howell Central): A 6'4" forward who has good length and a versatile skill set. He handles the ball well and he scored on some impressive slashing moves to the basket. He is also a solid defensive player who rebounded the ball well.

******

Mason Lostutter (Francis Howell Central): A 6'3 wing guard who has a strong body and he used it very well to attack the basket on power drives in the lane. He also had a nice blend of finesse in his game as he displayed an excellent spin move in the lane to get him a bucket. He uses his body and strength well to his advantage against smaller guards. He is also a very good secondary ball handler who can facilitate offense well with is passing skills.

******

[player_tooltip player_id='2534730' first='Darrell' last='Crump'] (Westminster): A 6'2" guard who was one of the more impressive young perimeter shooters that I watched at IAABO. The young lefty has a smooth shooting stroke from 3-point range. In one game I watched, he knocked down three triples in four possessions. He also attacked the close outs well with his ability to put the ball on the floor. He has a nice touch with his floaters in the lane.

******

Emnai Habib (Francis Howell Central): A 6'6" forward who has a long and slender build and has excellent mobility. He runs the court very well and he scored well in the transition game. He wasn't afraid to play the physical game inside and he rebounded the ball very well. He grabbed rebounds at their highest point and he was very good at keeping the ball high for putbacks. His offensive game is developing as he has an effective up and under move in the post.

******

[player_tooltip player_id='2528034' first='Jahi' last='Martin'] (Westminster Christian): A young point guard who plays the game with a pass-first mentality. He distributes the ball well and he makes good decisions. He is a good ball handler who used his strength to step through double-teams to keep the ball moving against pressure defense. He has a good feel for the game and he displayed very good poise as a floor leader.
